Well i guess if you bought in this week at 28p then this is a risk short term..... and in any case you only lose money if you sell them now.

Dont often post here - but i’ve held for a long time... some as high as 800 pre SFO which i got lucky and averaged down and sold off for a profit when they hit 500.

Thought i was smart and got it at a ridiculously low (at the time) 380 last year - then covid and now i’ve never seen it to these levels. How low can it go?!

This is why us PI will never "win" is like Vegas sometimes - appaling.

From the 21.44p to 27p my GGP shares are worth another £278K!!!!

I'll print and frame it - incase on Monday it was just a mistake!!!

Rates are so low you'd be better off increasing your mortgage and investing the money!

I was mortgage free 4 years ago - then bought another BTL... I something think If i had put that money into GGP when i bought my first set of shares - I could have bought 50m shares!

25p is actually 10x above my (original) first slice targert price!

I'd have to admit when i checked earlier and we were only 5% up I was a little disaapointed - I think i have gotten too used to the 10% daily increase!

I told my colleages back in 2017 about GGP- they got burnt with when NM walked and stopped speaking to me!!

I got the wife an F pace at 3p. At 15p she got a new handbag, and 18p a dimond ring.... didnt sell any shares to fund them though - more fool me!!

When i do eventually cash these in i'd like to say i'd be able to split it 50/50 - half to buy each of my kids a house for the future (they are both under 5 at the moment!!) and the other 50% will be reinvested.

heck Drusus - if this keeps up may as well just buy the chippy!

If the share ends at 23.5 today - thats circa an 8% rise on 2 consecutive days.... if it keeps it up until the rest of the week we are looking at a 29.6p close on Friday!!

My lowest buy was around 0.5p highest must have been just below 2p - pre EG days....

Back then I had a paper gain of around 1000% in SOLG and decent gains in UKOG.....

Since then sold SOLG with a moderate profit and sold UKOG at a substatial loss... and my GGP shares - which i thougth would be left in the bottom draw are up 1800%

Its more than double that now - and still no plans to retire!! Maybe not so life changing (for me after all!)

I think i need to take a look at some of my old comments during the EG days for some nostalgia!

its pretty mind boggling.. i made more this morning in my shares then my annual salary!!

I'll be the first to admit how wrong i was in the past about this stock..... when the rampers who banging on about 3p by friday, 10p by summer... i ignored them... i'm just glad i bottled out selling any of my shares in the past.

My top slice was meant to be 3p... still not been able to hit the sell button!!

@seen_it_done_it Should have been clearer - with the current shareprice of 22p thats my % gain.

I think my average is around 1.2p

At 0.22 mine is now 1864.3% up!

Profit is still profit!

I sold 1m shares at 2p last year.... which 800k of them were purchased at 0.86p when NM walked... if i kept those i would be nearly £200k (paper) richer!!
