I’m certain if they had built more 2/3 beds they would have sold the lot.

£4-500k is proper money, plus as you say stamp duty, moving costs, furniture etc.

The developer must be pulling their hair out having circa £7 million tied up and I assume paying council tax and utility standing charges.

I guess good time to be a buyer, bid them in the balls.

It would be nice to see a small cut, pump some optimism and hope into the UK.

There is a new housing estate near me, finished last summer, I would guess 40 new homes on it, the 2 & 3 beds have sold, I counted 15 bigger houses, 4/5 beds sat empty, priced between £4-500k.

The NI increase needs and will be scrapped, you cannot go into a trade war era and increase business taxes, it don’t work.

They needed to have the balls and be honest, tax workers £5 more per week and reduced benefits by £5 per week, problem solved.
