Cleantech Building Materials PLC is a newly-formed special purpose acquisition vehicle formed in December 2014. The company was admitted to trading on the standard list of the London Stock Exchange on 18 February 2015.
Following admission to trading the the company will seek to identify an acquisition in the cleantech building materials sector. The Directors believe there are significant opportunities for growth in this sector and hope to identify and complete an acquisition which will generate significant returns for shareholders in the medium term.

Richard Blakesley
Richard has 15 years of European and United States investment banking experience, working as a mergers and acquisitions specialist for Lehman Brothers, Chase Manhattan and JP Morgan. Latterly he was Managing Director in charge of M&A for the Telecoms, Media and Technology sectors in Europe for JP Morgan.
Since leaving the banking sector in 2003 Richard has been involved in a number of start-ups and early stage investments in the telecommunications, technology and financial services sectors, and co-founded a telecommunications service provider, AdEPT Telecom which was admitted to trading on AIM in 2006.
Richard was a director of Rubicon Software Group PLC since its admission to AIM in 2006, and was responsible for the series of transactions which resulted in the sale of the company's operations in 2011 and the reverse takeover of the aviation businesses of Lonrho PLC in 2012 to create Fastjet PLC, one of Africa's first low-cost airlines.. Richard served as Finance Director of Fastjet until December 2012.
From January 2013 until June 2014 Richard served as Chief Executive Officer of QEG Singapore Pte Limited, an early-stage company focused on the manufacture of green building products using Magnesium Oxide as a principal raw material, which commissioned its first manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka in 2014.
Jeff Jaffrey
Jeff is a partner of Veritas Investments SA. He launched the Veritas 1 fund in 2008, which is currently invested in nine businesses, ranging from forestry to the medical device industries. He has participated in multiple transactions with some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and has also been instrumental in helping large biotech firms to develop effective distribution platforms in the Middle East.
Jeff as long-standing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, key business and political leaders, institutions and sovereign funds. His expertise lies in utilising his contact base to assist companies in the identification of revenue opportunities, entry into new markets, the selection of strategic partners, and/or the acquisition of new licenses/contracts.
