Not a huge poster, and not a huge holder either. But hopefully 2023 sees an end to all the Ukraine nonsense and we can get back up to where we were this time last year.
I see some things never change, I only sporadically check on here to see if there is any news or insight, and it’s just childish arguments from everyone. Never fails to make me cringe to see grown adults, and no doubt (in some cases) intelligent, successful people with huge portfolios arguing like my children all the time.
Good luck to all holding on and waiting.
You may have also picked this up floating around via that last link . . . . .

I dont think anyone in the world looks more Russian than this guy.
Thanks Everyone for the kind words. Lets hope we're all happy when this concludes. It blows my mind when you hear of people with hundreds of thousands of shares and that people bought in at 0.2p. That IS life changing money.
On the plus side, I'm finally close to getting myself out of the **** my ex left me in, I've got a new upgrade (in every department) girlfriend, and I'm happy with my life currently. Once she buys me out, I'll be on easy street, and that's when I will know that I've come out on top, regardless of how **** poor the last few years have been on my bank balance, credit rating and all round general state of mind.
Good luck to everyone.
So how will peoples lives change as a result of this company, should the sale price go through, and what (for you) is life changing money?
Personally, I'm not exactly rich, I was screwed in my divorce 6 years ago, left with most of the debts, a shot credit rating, and I'm still waiting for my ex to buy me out of the former marital home, which she's happily missed payments galore over the past 6 years further tanking my credit file.
I was stupid at the time to put a huge amount of her business start up costs in my name, along with loans for kitchen, building works, etc, because we were married and I trusted her to not screw me over, alas, during the divorce she completely f'd me over. I've since paid a lot of that debt down, but still have £15k left over, £6k on high interest credit cards and the rest on loans (Coincidentally £15k is what she owes me for my share of the house equity less debts at the time of the divorce)
Anyway, I have a modest 3000 shares here (bought at 30p+) which is all I can really afford, so for me I'm hoping for a dividend payment of about £2 to give me the £6k I need to clear off my high interest debts, and that for me would class as life changing. It would save me almost £300 a month, which I can then use to pay off the loans much quicker.
I'm sure life changing for some would be paying the mortgage, or a new car, or a new house, or millions of pounds, but I'll be happy with £6k, and fair play to all who get what they deserve as this past year has been a grueller.
Hi everyone, fledgling investor here. Looking forward to seeing how OMI does over the course of the next few months. I’m not in for a lot, as current events mean I can’t, but any increase on my investment is welcome tbh. I’m up 23% already and I’ve only been invested a week or so, so long may it continue. I made a good profit on GGP, almost 200% return, but had to sell to cover some bills, I’ve also got a little in EUA hoping for the sale of the company.
I’m hoping to stick with OMI now as cash flow has improved a bit meaning I shouldn’t have to sell up so hopefully here for the long term.
Hi everyone, new to investing, but have been in GGP and EUA in my short stint, so not doing too badly for my first toe dip into investing. Up approx 89% over the two in the past 3 months. What I really want is to start to build a long term holding in a company that might give me life changing money, which GGP and EUA would’ve been had I got in early doors.
I’ve done a little research, Google, etc but I eindeeed if anyone has any links to stuff that could inform me better so I can make up my mind. From face value it seems a no brainier, but I’ll be looking to build up a bigger picture before pushing buy.
Thanks for reading.
The only urge I’m feeling right now is the urge to sell my small holding in GGP and lumping it all in here for the time being and then reinvesting.
I’m only a newbie investor (literally a month) but I’m already seeing 100% gains on my initial investments. If this bags then I’m going to kick myself if I’m not all in. Decisions decisions.
Sadly even if I go all in and this goes for £3.50 I’m not going to be able to tell the boss to swivel, but it would allow me to start building a portfolio of stocks to set me on my way.
