I have worked for a couple of those folk, on the wrong end of the spectrum, and some of the stuff they got up to was unbelievable. Very unpleasant. The only upside is once you categorise them, you can pretty much predict how they will behave.

At the risk of repeating myself TW ran two “smaller companies investment trusts”.

Both went down the khaki.

It takes a rare genius to pick 2 dozen duff companies, but he managed it.

Much easier to Chuck S H 1 tee around and hope some sticks.

I’ve been mulling over the recent presentation, which was enormously information rich, and at a level of detail almost impossible to absorb fully.

Why was it released ? PG isn’t a hype merchant, and it didn’t tie in with any specific news release or “pump and place” event.

I think he wanted to put out there so that the diligent could place in context the many news events which are to be forthcoming, and for which it would be impossible to full context for each one. It will allow us to see how each one fits into a massive jigsaw.

I have a lot of time consuming family issues to deal with of late, and in addition I avoid getting drawn into ****ging matches with the crew here.

For those of you unaware, Sound Energy at one point were projecting 15 Tcf across their licence. Very different geology, they gave away huge amounts of equity, and were hyped and mismanaged royally. However their discovery in Tendrara was a stonker and with careful stewardship, they would have done very well.

It would have also helped if they had listened to GRH.

Why would anyone raise money to drill reservoirs that have no evidence of hydrocarbons ?

A share like PRD should make up a tiny fraction of a balanced portfolio. The rest should consist of solid growth and income bearing assets.

If your entire portfolio is the latter, you’ll be fine, but nothing life changing will occur.

If PRD comes good, it could make a huge and disproportionate change in your fortunes.

If it doesn’t you’re still fine.

GRH, I think the term is projection, where they ascribe motives to others that they themselves.have.

Sadly I’ve dealt with some unpleasant folk over the years, and it is a common trait. Often goes hand in hand with narcissism, and sociopathy, but when you figure it out, it makes it easy to predict how they will behave.
