So you are not an investor here Levi. I mean, it would not be logical to stay right? I presume you are here because you are upset about African Pioneer and simply cannot abide the thought of GLR and its shareholders having success. And you take every opportunity to downplay progress. Hmmm.
I agree with Chris, it was very informative, and for genuine shareholders who have done their research they would do well to listen to the interview more than once, and, ironically the non AFP comments in the AFP interview. Between those two interviews there is plenty of information within the boundaries of what is permissible to say.
So you are saying they will not be mining the open pit (or presumably a sale) within the next 18 months. Despite now having a mining license, a date given by the CEO of Galileo and Cooperlemon a few months ago, and a lot of interest in the asset, with processing facilities crying out for ore. got it. Maybe you should sell your shareholding if that’s what you believe …. Unless of course … Oh … LOL
So what is your estimate Levi of when the Luansobe open pit will be mined? Don’t be shy. Maybe contact those ramblers at site yesterday for a clue. LOL
September or October 2024 according to the Cooperlemon CEO and CB several months ago.
Sounds like he will run the open pit over 5 years instead of 10. The significantly improves the FCF and NPV presuming he pulls the 5.8mt. That’s what the ramblers were likely discussing on site yesterday ;-)
He will get the open pit up and running - most if not all capex outsourced to Opex. The FCF will pay for further drilling within the license - the deeps in particular are interesting for obvious reasons. He mentioned that IOCG was likely a true IOCG - IYKYK what that means. So cash generation and drill out further in highly prospective assets. The land grab for assets in Zambia means GLR have very attractive licenses. Yesterday he said an open pit of a certain size - like what GLR has without mentioning the name. Is manageable for a Junior. Run the numbers … he will fatten the Luansobe open pit calf IMO and sell it as a profitable mine with all the other potential thrown in.
Chief Ramper aka Colin Bird ;-)
We will have the small scale license approval RNS’d soon. We know the status of that. That’s one huge step nearer. We know they have discussed a start in September with Cooper lemon on a previous podcast. We have guys on site yesterday - maybe they were just ramblers :-)
Nice dig Iky. You'll be saying that I am CB again. Rolls eyes at the obvious... I'll listen to it later as there probably is something in there that has been missed.
Prickly, there are plenty on here who are consistently the opposite of bullish, and often sound like they have invested elsewhere but carry their gripes to this BB even though GLR has a far better portfolio than most juniors on AIM including but not limited to other CB group companies. Research is what keeps me invested. Pay your money, take your choice.
Not defensive Iky. Just looking forward to how it unfolds. We have a mining license in Zambia - how many Juniors across AIM, ASX, TSX can say that! Once Colin announces something really good it's off to the races with that project and several others. :-)
CB owes me nothing Iky. He’s the one who built an amazing portfolio. Supporting the company is easy when you can sit back and look at the assets and ignore the noise as CB has stated previously. The market will soon see what we have - usually some of the herd turn up, then a few more, then the rush :-) Zambia and Copper In particular are the places to be.
When a few individuals sell , take advantage of it. That’s how you get a larger position. Eventually it pivots. The portfolio and macro environment is too good not to.
Here’s an option. Get Luansobe open pit up and running, then sell a profitable producing asset one year down the line whilst drilling the deeps and some others off part of the proceeds. Could be massive squared!
Copper deficits as far as the eye can see: https://x.com/wmiddelkoop/status/1782638704663695743
The AFP discussion mentioned, in effect, that a small open pit was manageable for AIM juniors. Plenty of information previously discussed by Cooper Lemon/Galileo on timescales, also RNS on low overburden, tonnage, cutoff grades etc, and guys on site at Luansobe today. Your money, your choice on how you interpret various sources of information. You might think those on site are potential acquirers, you might think they are contractors to mine and haul the material. You will have to work that out - either way - could result in a significant multiple from here. The other piece of information is directors buying on the market - when did that last happen ? Some will wait and only act on an RNS - good for them. Others join dots differently. It depends on risk appetite.
As do most people who bothered to do some simple calculations. That’s why some folk accumulated decent positions.
Further drilling required by SFR. The updates on the website give an idea of prospectivity. However the remaining GLR licenses that are 💯 owned by GLR look increasingly likely to be sold off as a package.
The thread ‘statunga open pit approved’ was written on the 18th. The Cadastre was updated a day or so later.
They will when they receive the official confirmation direct to them. They are following protocol. They have had the same notice so far as we have. Nothing stopping anyone doing the same.
