Bloody Hell!! WOW! Crazy start..

Also FX was an issue a month ago to results / margin mainly in Asia but the £ has fallen against most Asian currencies this month which is good news making THG products cheaper in those countries.

Thought I was clever buying 400,000 @ 2.9p then watch it drop to 1.3p. £8k down now back in profit crazy times. Lots more wild swings but holding for 6p but could also be 1p though it seems the big boys think POG is a go let’s see..

Then came straight back 100% sure a blip nobody would have been able to sell POLY at +£10

When huge volatility barclays temporarily stops trading. POLY just spiked £10!!!!

This will be another tough week on the markets. Nothing compared to what the amazing Ukraine people are going through. So a bit of perspective needed & when we all make money in the future on this let’s consider giving a bit to the Red Cross.

Currently the sell off is massively overdone especially in e-commerce but the main reason last week was Russia attacking a nuclear power plant it totally freaked out European markets. Things hopefully will settle down a bit now. I know it’s not easy but it’s time to do nothing… LTH

I hold POG on Barclays Smart Imvestor. It just took time to buy as extremely volatile and often you were shut out but you can buy & sell. Looks good for a rise on Monday I think. The ceasefire corridor will be liked by the markets. Markets massively spooked to wake upto a fire at that nuclear plant so hopefully it all calms down a bit next week. Gold prices sky high wages half due to rouble drops. Could see a big rise in this..

Wages have also halved with the rouble crashing so that will smarten up the balance sheet & of course soaring gold prices…

Nice move up today considering yesterday and media speculation re Russian companies. At the end of the days it’s still mining for Gold which is at highs and it’s labour costs have halved due to rouble crash. You can sell gold anywhere no worries so Swift not an issue. Still just a punt though IMO

Gold is gold so you can always sell it & it’s often countries in civil war rely on Gold. Not sure why it dropped 50% today compared to POLY. Let’s just say easy to sell 1000 ounces of Gold in the black market than trying to move a 1000 tonnes of Steel!! Always buyers for Gold also wage bill just halved due to Rouble I think it will be ok eventually though they shouldn’t have also listed in Moscow

Why is POLY doing so well today? I know Blackrock doubled down but huge risk. Also re Evraz surely China will buy all its Steel as they don’t want to buy steel from OZ due to recent falling out. Just a thought and hopefully works out for you GLA
