That is a private company. Not the WBI we are invested in, based in guernsey, that is a public limited company. I know it suits the bearish agenda to keep lying about accounts being due. But at leats get the company right

What about our Swiss Strategic putting money in at premium? That was talked about in 2024 and never got over the line. Maybe it is about to happen. Would make sense given AP also put his own personal money in

Secondly regarding CEO why don’t we let Nomad complete their due dilligence. If he gets approved and they are happy then I certainly am as well. His experience of financial markets and small caps will be crucial to turning this around with the right team behind him

The shareprice dropping is not always a direct link to the business on any given day. Past week we have seen plenty of capitulation and people selling due to fear of the unknown and uncertainty.

Will it continue? Maybe. Maybe not. At somepoint it’s going to snap back higher as I know the NEDs are working hard to steady the ship behind the scenes and make progress on multiple fronts

Anyone not happy can sell and those who like the risk v reward can buy. I’ve bought more down here yesterday and am in for the journey as I believe the odds are skewed in favour of upside from here

Clive Roberts and Paul Shackleton are the current NEDs and they are the ones currently steadying the ship behind the scenes. Both are extremely credible individuals.

New CEO has yet to be officially appointed, DD is currently being conducted. If you read the RNS he sounds ideal for steadying the ship given his experience in small caps, finance and private equity.

Its only a loss when you sell though and i have no plans to sell. I've had various comms and i'm happy that things are on track, just a bit slow. There is plenty of uncertaintity around but ultimatley i'm reassured there is no real threat of going bust or any major problems. So will continue to hold and add where i can

New CEO should pass DD soon and we should get some update on the operational side of things. I suspect the loan situation will continue to drag on in the background for months. I'm not concerned about that, it was ongoing for the past 12 months and no one cared about it in 2024. The lender will want to come to some amicable arrangement with WBI in time, my guess it'll be linked to production revenues.

Anyway good luck all would be nice to get some public reassurance from the company via RNS. Nomds seem happy to put out RNSs where a shareprice is up 50% but don't seem fussed when a price has dropped 50%

Of course i don't blame people for thinking that. But its unlikely in this case. He'd be luck to raise much more than £500k in a placing. The stock needs a proper run higher before any placing becomes viable. This has been overdone and the 0.1p level is no longer attractive. Any placing would barely pay back his loan and he would know that

Reality is he only stuck his money in because he has something big lined up. What that it remains to be seen? Hanes contract maybe? Diamonds maybe? Strategic premium investor maybe? Time will tell

Everyone expects a placing. And on previous form its pretty likely. I feel confident though. Market feels strong. Lots of positive rumours flying around. AP for the first time ever stuck £500k in at 0% interest to keep the company going. He wouldn't do that to then just raise. He has something up his sleeve. Oh boy. This is going to be a fun ride i think.

Bitcoin just bounced back to 102k. Its all just range based. I'm looking forward to seeing if we get anything from the US exclusive bitcoin mining conference where QBT are presenting. Invitation only. Very very exciting

I would expect something this week given end of the week is the deadline for the Tax Loss Deal. Although there is so much going on we could news on various different things. If they don't wrap up the deal by end Jan it'll just be extended again, which is fine as they are funded for all of their 2025 operations including Blue Mountain into production. Im really excited as the next few weeks are potentially transformational for the company.
