Loc - I think FTSE will fall tomorrow, as currently no one knows where we are heading with Corona. At present I would not take too much notice of what DOW has done on Friday. During the week it went up by around 6%, only to fall by 10% next day. My Visa Inc shares have come down from around $220 to $160.

LS - There are various options, depending what route is taken by the BOD
1( Sale of MT RNS will state what the offer is and BOD will decide at a later stage what they will do with proceeds...i.e what Div to pay and when. It will have date, as to when you should have held the shares and until when you must hold the shares.
2) Sale of the Company again will be via an RNS, which will have the offer price and shares will start trading. Shares will start at the offer price or little above, if the Market thinks there will be a counter offer. At this stage one can sell the shares at the current price at that time. Funds will be avail straight away for you to start using them to buy shares or wait 3 days(IG Account Holders), when you can withdraw to your account.
3) If only MT is sold, you will be allowed to hold EUA shares.

Theosus lot of the poster worry me, if they need Gov to tell them as to wash their hands and so on, where has the common sense gone? All of us should be washing our hands,cleaning the key board at work, if others use the same work station. It seems like some people needs to be spoon feed the common duties.
