These are only going to be delivered by a select few providers as per DFE and DWP press releases. Do you know if Northcoders has been selected? If they have not said so then unlikely.

When will they run out of other people's money ?

I cannot see on their website any references to regional funded bootcamps and the Northcoders link on the group site no longer works. I managed to get around that but there are also messages saying they are no courses open and someone is putting together 2026 course offering?

Counter is advertised as a return to work recruitment service, rather than coding.

Always a red flag when the CFO cannot even be confident to buy a few shares into their ISA. I assume they are looking at a de list probably at 30p.

Am I right in thinking the Outstanding on all points was around the central DFE bootcamps work, that is nolonger core to the business? Given they did not actually make any real profits on that central contract, will this new Counter be higher margin?

Like others I feel the best thing now is to sell the business to the highest bidder. It isn't all their own fault as Labour have cancelled all central private company training contracts and though I didn't vote for them, the one clear policy they had was they did not support the private education sector. Their view is FE colleges will now get that money, with the support of local authorities. Also their strategy is around apprenticeships, though not via current private sector providers. Universities and colleges will be funded to provide these now.

There are a lot things Labour are doing, which they never mentioned, unfortunately wrecking private sector education and certainly blocking funds from government into it - was the one policy they did propose.

Not laughing now then. Just never listened to serious analysis based on FE Magazine and websites of DofE, local councils and also actual government policy.

I guess they proved me wrong and did win at GLA. And the £250k will cover the CEOs salary for a while. Sadly no one else. Maybe next year? When GLA hopefully have another £27m to spend. As I said the Chair needs to resign and get a City expert in.

I agree with the other investors below. The strategy keeps changing, but there is no pipeline explained. If Counter is the future we do not know how that really works?

QA have a model of train and deployment... is it that model?

On Bootcamps, there are hundreds of local councils. When investors called them out over not coming clean over the ending of the DofE central contract, which was very well signalled in the Education press, but the CFO and CEO claimed they knew better.

Then they stated it was a new Regional plan

Suddenly it is Counter.

Why would a young CFO in their frist CFO job leave, unless it is for another job? Or is there personal family reasons? Why did they never buy into the shares at rock bottom?

What are the KPIs around their strategy?.

They have an apprenticeships company. What is that doing ?

If there is any upside you would expect the Directors to buy something?

I assume NC are still pitching camps at the £8k plus VAT levels. I know QA provide a free course, but then take a big slice, far more than £8k, over two years via similar model to Counter.

The big question is how the new growth levy will work if that will allow bootcamps.

Also it still not clear how Counter really works. Is it really an Agency supply agreement?

I think the best hope for the shareholders is a sale of the business that values their IP at the same levels Natwest concluded.

My understanding is GLA have dished out most of the £27m. Or £24m after Admin costs. But GMCA is there local council and so must be a better opportunity.

The Labour controlled DofE have shafted the entire private training sector. I guess they feel that they made it clear in the Election this sector was not something they would support. And their focus will be on HE colleges and state owned providers. But do those bodies have the same understanding and expertise?

They are not listed on the GLA website as a provider for September.

It would be good to know what recruitment numbers they have on their private funded courses. Also what is the revenue expectation out of Counter 25/26.

In the past they provided a lot more data on these elements.

Also looks like the CFO was thrown under the bus. I guess with a failed IPO and nightmare delivery on forecasts Investors demand blood.

I wonder what NatWest think of their main contact leaving.

I cannot see them raising equity again and going private would be sensible- i suspect they are looking for a buyer- as I cannot see PE interested given the failure of the current CEO.

My thoughts are the EV is £1bn and so adjusted for debt is £700m. The need to hit consistent profit numbers for 12 month to get institutions interested. I assume they are streamlining to get debt free - per various Q&A. The remains a business with quality brands and so I had assumed they can recover input cost inflation. Hence the market will wondering why they didn't?
