Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I saw on the sales ticker (appears in bottom left hand corner) at myhealthchecked.com a “general blood test” I clicked on it but came up as a blank page. So hopefully they are testing the website for new product launches? But thought they would have a dev site for that. Based on other observations feels news is coming …

See link
We also sell the standard LFTs direct on our website

For now I am keeping the faith ...
Interesting article - the fear however is the revenue growth is based on a reaction to Covid and not sustained YoY growth … so it’s giving a false picture of the future
I’m not de ramping BTW
Good news is all wellness tests now back on Amazon, not sure why they got taken down but all good now. We remain on Boots and Lloyds. PCR sales will now be low but the LFTs continue to sell and I expect Dec sales were strong as families tested before seeing elderly loved ones.
Nobody wants to see the world return to Covid. But with MHC atleast we have a business who can protect the nation through affordable at home testing.
The realist in me just can’t see the Wellness tests propping up the business. Unless …
Supporting NHS and GPs … long shot
Getting on the shelves at Boots, Lloyds, Tesco?
TV advertising with celeb endorsement … expensive
My real fear is the level of established competition, but that does also show demand is there
RNS this week IMHO
Been here a very long time … anyone remember MyLotus in China?
So I have seen a lot of change and false dawns …
Now, it’s clear MHC are making huge revenues, but profit margins on LFTs are much lower than the PCR tests. Profit is key … but if we continue to shift significant volumes then we have a steady profit pipeline.
What’s needed here IMHO …
1. Launch of more affordable wellness tests in Q4
2. Announcement that these tests are sold via Boots, Lloyds and ideally Tesco or similar
3. Update on potential acquisitions
The PR here is slow at best. But if there is nothing to say … I’m happy that they focus on building a strong business that gives longevity. But this needs a very good market update pre Christmas. TrustPilot is excellent at 4.4 but all reviews are on LFTs … nothing on the new wellness tests. Also … I don’t see the tests on Amazon anymore? … But on the MHC website when browsing the sales ticker alert showed a couple of sales of the Heart Profile test
Optimist in me … removed from Amazon as new channels wanted exclusive rights?
Or … we’ll let’s not go there
Staying very positive as MHC have proved they can deliver a product into the two biggest high st chemists in the country and provide an excellent customer experience
It’s frustrating … but my view is patience will be rewarded
We now have longevity with Lloyds and Boots, proved we can deliver a quality product that does not drive complaints (basing that on 4.4 TrustPilot). So we a trusted supplier of the two biggest pharmacies in the UK. Big tick.
I see our lateral flow tests (FTF and normal) are on Boots. Are they ours? They are the same ones on our own website …
I’m assuming revenue remains strong or steady atleast with the LFTs … but that’s a very woolly statement. Just need some bloody news!
Ramble over
Lloyds …
Single LFT non travel £1.89 - 9782 sold past 24 hrs
LFT fit to fly £12.99 - 244 sold past 24 hours
Boots …
PCR travel £62 - 48 sold past 24 hours (no sales ticker for multi buys)
So above revenue is £18,488 + £3,169 + £2,976 = £24,633
Then you have Boots stores, Pharmacy first and our direct sales … £35k to £40k a day?
£1.2m a month?
Just observations that we already have multiple products across channels/providers and sales are picking up
I’m also keen to see the revenue coming from the rapid antigen tests that we sell direct online and via Lloyds. Trust Pilot reviews over 7k now and lots look to be from both the fit to fly and normal tests. On Boots - sales steady at c.40 a day for the PCR tests. So if we can add the new product suite I think the future is rosy … GLA
Im looking forward to the new products RNS … hopefully sold via Boots and Lloyds.
On Boots 41 PCR kits sold in last 24 hours … I can’t see the sales counter on Lloyds?
Still a good solid revenue stream. Trust Pilot 4.4 which is excellent.
Would love a positive launch RNS and 5p +
Good luck all it’s been a long long journey with this one …
Fingers crossed for this week
Trust Pilot = 4.3 excellent, +5000 reviews, last one 35 mins ago
Boots.com = 20 sales last 24 hrs, just on individual tests
Lloyds pharmacy.com = Fit to fly LFT … sold out (again) … good if demand high, bad if distribution issue
New products = launch in April now confirmed
Revenue from 2021 will exceed forecast given by.£2 million IMHO.
Crude crude math for illustration … if we sold an average of 250 PCR kits a day across all our channels … direct, boots online, boots stores, Lloyds … that’s c£6m a year and doesn’t account for LFT … crude so don’t hammer me … but is a 250 average daily amount that unreasonable? Considering we were doing £3m revenue mid year a month?
So if PCR/LFT can give us c.£4-£5m a year and act as our cash cow then we focus on NPD. Aware that steady state means covid testing remains. We would all rather covid ends when you look at the bigger picture

MHRO (My Humble Ramblings Only)
DYOR
I am hopeful for a RNS this week on 2021 Q4 financials and future product strategy
Boots.com … sale ticker only shows for single tests, averaging around 30 a day. Most people travel in couples, or families so healthy sales here
Lloyds … sold out online of our Fit to Fly LFTs and at home LFT test kits
Very confident Q4 and 2021 revenues will be above forecasts given by Penny. The key here is new products being stocked by Boots and Lloyds. TrustPilot remains excellent at 4.3 with 30+ reviews in past 24 hours. Personally I’d be upset if we did not cement long term deals with both suppliers. Remember our partnership with Boots goes back to MyLotus / Concepta days so this relationship is well over 4 to 5 years now - search MyLotus on Boots.com for a touch of nostalgia.
MHC has proven they can deliver a credible product backed by exceptional service.
Been here … must be 6-7 years now, seen it all … but I think we are now in the best position we have ever been in. DYOR etc IMHO … good luck all especially LTHs … if anyone remembers China hospital trials give me a shout back for Eric!
Where the SP goes … anyones guess …. But the product is selling and NPD promised
Ambers
The Boots website only shows the sales ticker for the individual test not the bundles. Right now it’s 40 sales past 24 hours on the individual test. But just think of the couples and families buying up the bundles! We are also on Lloyds now and again with some good bundle offers.
Worth noting that easyJet also point customers to Boots as a trusted partner … https://www.easyjet.com/en/covid-19-travel-hub/covid-19-testing-providers
I personally think we are back to over £1.5in sales a month when you factor in the above channels, Boots shops and our own website.
Brilliant point about the volume of TP reviews, speaks volumes. Our TP score is excellent which bodes very well for word of mouth, loyalty and recommendations.
Good luck all, especially those that remember clinical trials in China with Eric!
