That hasn't been officially announced yet people keep forgetting this. The official announcement will normally coincide with an RNS announcement from BIDS. The official announcement is due August.

It's just how it is, we need to change the entire way humans eat and that might take some give on all sides.

Yes I believe you are right. But it's so much more than a fad or even a lifestyle choice the fact is the way we currently farm food is completely unsustainable so whether or not people want this form of food (and I completely agree people will look back on the way we eat now as murder) it will become a requirement in order for us to survive.
