I was close to buying yesterday, but the comments on here about a possible capital raise put me off.

Agreed, looking good the last few days!

Indeed, yes https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/COMPAGNIE-FINANCIERE-RICH-14354614/news/European-luxury-stocks-jump-after-Richemont-smashes-expectations-48781453/
I do agree with your point here. It drew me to this company.

Indeed, yes. The sector seems to be doing ok so far the last few days, likely driven by the tax news in the US.

Mind, the sector in the US seems time be bouncing up today.
My first buy of 2025 this morning. Not bought CWR for over 2 years but always tracked. Not for the faint-hearted I know!
Mardler - you've held the shares for 40 years? ________________________________ Cannot remember the dates, probably the late 80's recession. Thankfully I held and still do.
I sold Monday as not keen holding near results...so I lost out here. Big rise today as forward looking much healhier...

I'm still a but surprised by the size of increase today, but I guess so much bad news and shorting baked in. Always nice to see shorters caught.... Well done Mary, a great day for you :)
Bouncing around the last few days. JD didnβt help last week no doubt and that seemed overdone
Nice bounce today. Hopefully not a dead cat one....

Big bounce today. Got lucky with a few of my shares today, not Black Friday after all... :)

Decent 1st half results also. No more bad surprises is good as is reduction on costs and debt. https://www.lse.co.uk/news/GBG/gb-group-swings-to-profit-after-solid-first-half-swmh3b5dw7cmrl7.html
MIght be the reason for the upswing today.
A nice little bounce back today ...
