Ditto! :(
Thank you to everyone who has been so kind. I will reflect and hopefully learn from these experiences. You know when you have those periods where nothing goes right, the past few months have been like that. Sending warm wishes to all those also sitting on massive paper losses. Let's hope for brighter days ahead.
I feel like an utter failure this morning. As a novice to the market I have managed to lose a huge chunk of our family savings on ODX,NCYT and today SNG. Feel like giving up. What an idiot I am.
I sincerely hope you are right. I am so deep under water making a new investor's mistake of putting too many eggs in one basket. Unfortunately it is money I couldn't afford to lose.....lesson well and truly learned. :(
Their revised target is an absolute joke!
Sorry to be a pain but I can't seem to find the Oddo note. Could someone please share a link to it? Thanks
Can you share the link please Porks?
I believe the comments re lower than expected international sales is down to the mainly UK focus in 2020 and need to deliver successfully and on time to the DHSC. The headcount in 2020 matched that of a pioneer in this field. Now our product range has grown alongside the enduring pandemic, plus the companies long term strategic growth plans the recent increase in headcount especially so many high level BD roles should enable contracts to be won in international markets.
Like others I am sitting on a huge paper loss with money our family can't afford to lose so have to keep the faith. As an accountant having read Blackbirds's blog earlier the figures to be don't stack. Surely common sense will kick in and our true value will shine through. If SP doesn't rise quickly can't see how we can avoid a T/O. Mixed feelings on this route as we could be truely undervalued. GLA
Maybe it is my desperation to see positive days ahead but i
Absolutely devastated by today's news. As a newcomer to the market this time last year I added considerably to my Novacyt holding in Jan so averaged up significantly. Now sitting on huge paper loss.
Still trying to work out the hiring of the new General Counsel and all the other new vacancies. Taking into GM reply and today's RNS I am now swaying more towards a potential takeover situation.
Still believe the company is solid but hurts nonetheless. GLA to those who are still holding.
Excuse my ignorance @Porky at this late time of the day but do you think this signals bad news for us or do you see this as acquisition target?
SP target remains the same,£13.65. Topped up again today :)
This is my first ever message as I am new to trading so as yet don't feel remotely qualified to comment. However as a regular reader of the board since accessing it last March I value all opinions on NCYT., and have found this board so useful. Although we may not agree with each other's views on whether the current SP is fairly valued, the long term prospects and the ongoing saga of how NCYT is handling its PR we should respect each other's opinions. Like an earlier poster said no-one should be investing based on one individuals' views and as PI's we should be try to remain civil even when the SP is taking a hammering. My portfolio is heavily weighted by NCYT, it is disappointing to see how far the price has fallen after such stellar 2020 figures but no surprise it has plummented since then with no confirmation yet on future contracts. GM's comments on the 2021 were far too vague and if I hadn't done so much research I would be concerned about its future too. Presently it is awful looking at a paper loss but I remain very optimistic that in the near future it will bounce back in a big way. Hope those who are feeling a bit sensitive right now will allow everyone to express their views even if they strongly disagree.
