AIMHO, but still strongly believe the deal has already been done and dusted, and it will be for way over a £1
Knowing my luck,I have probably been doing far too much dreaming, but who knows?
And definitely, as usual ALWAYSHOPING. GLAH etc

A...couple of exerts. NOT A SINGLE MENTION OF ZANAGA !!!!!!
Re future of mining.....In light of their potential, mining industries could become levers of growth, providers of significant financial resources for our country.
The major integrative project for the development of the iron deposits of Nabemba in Congo and MBalam in Cameroon was the subject, last June in Ouesso, of fruitful exchanges between the two countries.
Rigorous monitoring and evaluation of this project will translate, in practice, our shared desire for sub-regional integration.
The implementation of the Mayoko - Moussondji iron deposit, for reserves estimated at 917 million tonnes, was relaunched with the reattribution of the operating permit to a new partner with solid experience in the field and presenting proven technical and financial guarantees.
The completion of this mining project should result in the creation of around 700 jobs.
But then we get this....."For the export of its minerals, our country has decided to build a mineral port at Pointe-Allemande, approximately 20 kilometers from Pointe-Noire.!!!!!
Faced with the challenges involved and the financial potential it represents for the State, the sector is working to strengthen its institutional framework, through the ongoing development of the new Mining Code.
We must intensify the development of the assets of this sector to give new impetus to the industrialization process of our country.
Full speech here.....which may need translating......

Hi Jiving....I am in ALMOST total agreement with your thoughts. However, I believe an "agreement" is already, and has been for sometime, in place with the Saudis/Manara Minerals and their chosen "partners", with the final agreed figure dependent upon the costings and savings figures to be released in due course. It is well documented that the info relating to the aim of Manara and Iron Ore in Africa. And then the recent announcement relating to "GAME CHANGING" news coming soon. What else could that really refer to other than Zanaga? Remember all the news released in recent months in relation to Saudi Vision 2030...new cities, The Line, world class holiday resorts, major sporting projects etc etc,but none exactly anywhere near being classed or described by them as "Game Changing"; and dont forget, that was a "HEADLINE quote" and not something tucked away in the press release at the time. Does anyone really believe that after all this time, the Saudis are going to be sitting on their backsides and allow some other party/consortium to jump in out of the blue and grab the "top prize"? As you have stated, we could receive such news literally any day now, allowing plenty of time for the deal to be well and truly all wrapped up by early 2024. Defintely in this case, as usual....alwayshoping.
Maybe a daft question, but what if there has been an agreed buy out price on the table for weeks, and the party/parties involved are now insisting the deal is completed NOW. Remember it was only last week that the Saudis announced that "Ground breaking news" was coming very soon. Maybe that was relating to ZIOC. If that was the case, would there still be need for an AGM. Technically, there would have to be a shareholders vote to agree to any deal, but dont Glencore , Elphick and a few others have a large enough percentage to get that part out of the way anyway.?/
As usual...alwayshoping.
Thanks for sharing 4kandles

MBS is going to spend 25 billion......lets not be greedy...he can have Zioc for 5 billion.....petty cash to him :-)
