They are only stating the obvious, I am pretty sure most people on this forum are convinced there is only one direction for this share. IMHO - the acquisition of Air Europa has stalled this for a short time due to its financial health, but soon enough with the announcements of opening of Latin America routes etc, the share will gain traction once again. People have just moved their money for the time being whilst things have stalled.
Forgot to mention which was one of the best lessons I learnt - Trading platforms have no emotions
Buy on the Rumours not on the results is a key phrase with trading. Stocks and Shares are as unpredictable as a roulette table. You will have a few highs in trading and an extremely lot of lows... takes a tough stomach to play this game out
Its Gambling - with the little insight we all truly have into any of these businesses, we are merely guessing.... No different from Red and Black in the casino
FFS - what on earth.... what more does the airline industry have to do to get these shares kick started!
Iberia airlines acquisition of Air Europa -

Dilemma resolved - 30 mins on the phone with a Customer Service representative and they are now able to book the flights for me... thank god BA are in the 21st century??? @Ianfm - I have stock too mate...if I wasn't so committed to booking these flights because of loyalty, I would go elsewhere. How many people who do not have stock would persevere? Any business needs to know they have issues to resolve it and progress eh ;-) I've been assured it is blip due to massive demand because of the sales.... so lets take that as good news ;-)
Have a great day
And still this morning the saga continues....still cannot book a flight on the antiquated website platform
I remember a couple of years ago when Alibaba shares were flying....someone pointed out that it was a nightmare to actually purchase anything on their website due to it being poor. Their shares plummeted massively and I do understand mainly for political reasons, but it highlights how do these companies make money if they essentially dont provide the platforms for you to give it? RANT OVER - now trying 6th time with 4th different card to no avail...
We all have a lot of faith in the IAG shares appreciating, but it would be very useful if BA actually helped themselves and spent a little bit of effort on their website. Its shocking. Developed and built by 10 year olds. Clunky, look and feel is atrocious and more importantly still not been able to make payment. (yes, I do have money in the bank before any smart **** says anything ;-)) And yes, this is a Trans Atlantic flight. If I didn't have shares in them, I certainly would have moved on!
Hyperbole and speculation in all media reporting now, is so prevalent, its impossible to gauge what the situation is really like
Trust me, you need resilience...mine was built up during the mass hysteria around XRP...that toughened me up! Sit and wait fella, it'll come but probably in a few more months
The article was written on the 18 August.... it was nearer 117 then ;-)
Interesting how well these guys predict stocks:

There is a huge reliance on Long Haul flights to gain traction and that will be when Business really gets back to normal and people start Face too Face on a more regular basis. Still alot of Zoom calls and people lack the enthusiasm to travel if they can get away with not doing so. Plus Business has seen a huge saving which is applicable to the current potential recession climate. IAG will climb but may take a little longer IMHO
Things maybe flat today due to public holidays all across Europe... it'll rise tomorrow
Whilst I 100% agree with you that the world has gone soft, unfortunately I illustrious media feed of this hyperbole. They are definitely the biggest enemy to any investment. Hopefully with some positive news soon about airlines being back on track, they will then not focus on the airports etc as this will be just fish and chip paper ;-)
Currently there isnt, but sure it must be gaining some interest. Fuel prices are starting to stabilise lower than previous months, they know what strikes to expect going forward and can work to that assuming they can resolve those issues for the future, more ground staff in airports and clearance is getting fast tracked for new recruits, people are desperate to fly and airports are busy, business travel has only partially kicked off, they are working to a manifest they can deliver having delivered the bad news of cancellations..... apart from Armageddon, surely there cannot be any further bad news? lol
Can anyone explain why the shares are lower now, than when no flights were running at all?
