Can't believe I bought this few months ago thinking it was LOW back THEN.
What a flop. Might be time for me to sell and just accept my losses and put that money elsewhere where it might actually grow and make up for the loss. Screwed myself buying BT
Oh really 100notout? Went down below 80p again this morning. I told you it wil lfall again. It's had a small recovery from the drop but this should continue falling in the coming weeks. A lot of elderly aren't listening to the govt advice of self isolating and Boris has just said they could be Italy style lockdown coming and if so that means bye bye M&S share price
If the elderly are being asked to self isolate for 12 weeks then this has a long way to fall as that's their main customer base. Today's recovery doesn't seem justified. This will go down below £1 again very soon. Lowest it hit was 75p but I think 50p more likely in the coming weeks. No one is going to M&S to stock up on supplies, their going to the bargain shops.
you really think JDW will go bankrupt? maybe the smaller pubs run by individuals that one 1-5 pubs but that means more business for the big boys. JDW has dropped to 590p and is now 640p and will continue recovering. That is UNLESS boris decides to close the pubs, if that happens then bye bye.
Greggs and JD whetherspoons have nearly halved in the last week. They will bounce back like crazy once virus is over. I am waiting for Boris to announce pub closure and JD to drop even further. Greggs also need to drop more because self-isolation=no one going out to buy pasties. These two will continue to fall in the next few days and will be good buys.
BT is a dead fish it will barely rise.
What is the point buying now? its 125p now, it might go to 150p after 12 months but thats it. It's been dropping for the last 5 years! it will bounce back a little due to the over-reaction of covid but so will every share once everyone realizes covid is just a flu and only affecting the dear elderly.
Invest now if you're going to keep it for 5-10 years but if you're looking for a quick buck look elsewhere, where the SP has dropped stupidly low such as Greggs, EazyJet, Pubs and cinemas.. they will all bounce back like mad in the next 18-24 months.
60p is nothing, this has way more to drop.
Ad revenues will fall.
Lives shows cancelled which is a major part of their shows (Talent shows, chat shows, im a celeb etc), footie cancelled
britbox will be a failure - about 5 years too bloody late. who is going to pay to watch re-runs from 1970s and 80s shows?
youtube, netflix is more popular with younger audiences, the only hit show they have is Love Island and people will get bored of that eventually once they rinse the heck out of it by constantly having it on every channel.
Will the price eventually creep back up? yes, but it has a lot more further to drop.
It has absolutely tanked!! its just under 400p at the moment and will continue dropping. people are stocking up on food and supplies, last thing you need is a pair of nike trainers. however it should recover in the long-term so just need to hold tight and wait as I suspect it will drop further closer to 300p
