How do I put a limit sell on my shares on t212 after I have already purchased them? I have £5k in CINE and just got update from them in email that these all mostly borrowed
I seriously doubt many people will be going to watch House of Gucci... though I will be more than happy to be proven wrong!
This will keep falling until Spiderman is released. Ghostbusters, Dune, etc have had little impact. Just waiting to see it drops below 40p which is where I made my initial investment over a year ago and might be tempted to top up! Crazy that we are now nearly back there.
Is this is worth £4.00 I hope you have re-mortgaged your house and put all your and your kids savings in the CINE stock!
Went through Bc2020 posts over the last week see below ..
what a load of ****** this person posts on the board:
Once we get through this 66p this is going to fly right up been a couple of knocks at the door
60p it wont be here for long Dont mind the pun See you all at the 80p +++++++++++++++++++++==
WE win and are £200m better of 20% rise in the share price coming 80p here we come
No it seems really controled at the moment in a very small range
Scooping up shares and shorts closing is my guess
Some good news and i think this will be 80p +++ in 1-2 days that quick
Just my view and as always DYOR
I can see 80p this week
Hold tight this is going to flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
80p end of the week
Avengers, Star Wars were reaching the end of their cycle, so people came out in droves to watch the climax of those stories. Avatar 2 will make money because the last one came out in 2009! If no one here thinks there is superhero fatigue then you obviously don't keep up with the current trends. Not sure what people are thinking here - must be deluded if you think kids will be lining up to go watch ghostbusters which has actors no one has heard of and anyone under the age of 30 will be going to watch top gun as they weren't even born when the original came out.
Typo --- improve by late 2022/early 2023*
As a LTH - the movie line up for this winter and 2021 doesn't look all that exciting. We have sequel after sequel - ghostbusters, spiderman, matrix, the king's man, scream... all done to death nothing original. Next year we have Top Gun, Jurassic Park... are we back in the 80's? Then you have Netflix producing show after show and eventually one will land (Squid Game) and has taken off like crazy and it's all everyone is talking about. Forget lockdowns - they aren't coming back otherwise the politicians will have just destroyed their credibility with the vaccine push. But it's the movies that will pull the punters. In 2019 you had the climax of Marvel, Star Wars.. mixed in with Tarantino, Joker, Disney re-makes (Lion King, Aladdin). People talk about Bond - that's one movie. Also let's not even mention that piracy is still rampant, you can easily find HD copies of new movie releases within a week or two - even earlier if they decide to stream it simultaneously as the cinema release. Then you have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, HBO all spending millions and millions producing new series. All these reasons are why this share price is going to linger in the 60s for a good while now, might even drop to the 50s. I only expect this to improve by late 2021/early 2022 but who knows what the landscape will be like by then?
Exactly, no need to sell at all. You can hold this for another year or two easily. This winter will be the last where the market will get tested with possible covid restrictions, but I doubt it will happen now with the success of the vaccines. Once we get over the winter hurdle without any significant damage and you start to see the summer blockbuster line-up this will be close to pre-covid times.
BC2020 "I own Lloyds shares £400k Tui shares £200k Cineworld shares £250k And some other cyclicals"
LOL show a screenshot or proof or STFU you fraud. probably some pencil neck kid living in council estate claiming universal credit. remove the 'k' from your figures and I'd believe you.
Can someone ban this BC2020 idiot? I think covid has affected his brain with all the nonsensical posts and price predictions he posts on here. Log off from this website for a few weeks dude give yourself a break from all the trolling.
I bought when it was in the 30s so can easily sell and still make a nice profit… albeit nothing like a few weeks ago!
Everyone I know under the age of 30 is now going to the movies, but there’s hardly any decent showings out right now. Don’t expect this to increase until late Autumn/Winter period now when a better line-up is released. The worst thing is BW being pirated so easily, it absolutely killed any momentum.
I used to use HL but switched to Trading212.
HL have great website but their app is rubbish, whereas T212 app is fantastic. Other than that T212 charges no fees which is a huge plus.
Bought this at 36p... wonderful, going to hold until next summer
I'm the same boat - I bought in twice last year and looking at 116% and 45% returns so far and wondering whether time is now to sell. Keep telling myself to wait until the summer and wait for all the restrictions to go away as I believe shares will see a huge spike but who knows what will happen with BARC.
Anyone else bought this when it was in the dumps around 25-40p? I'd like to buy more as this still has a long way to go but back then was a much easier decision to press buy whereas now I feel it could still go downwards. Sunak has announced furlough until end of Sept even though lockdown is supposed to finish at the end of June, so he's left some wiggle room and thinks might not re-open as planned.
Online shopping will drop massively once retailers open, at least for this summer. People have had enough being stuck at home and want to go out so badly. Good weather + shops re-open + new blockbuster movies at the pictures + pubs and restaurants open - it will be wild.
I bought Tesco shares last year in March for 216p... the price is now 228p but on my HL account I'm seeing a loss on my overall position.
Can someone explain what has happened? I know we're getting a big divvy this week but why has my position changed?
I've got £10k spare. Looking at investing long-term (2 to 3 yrs) and considering BP as pre-pandemic this was 450-500p. If we see normality resume in 2-3 yrs times surely it should bounce back to around that price? Pls let me know your opinions?
Re Streaming competition...
I can only speak for myself when I say I've just about had enough of sitting down in front of the telly with the wife and trawling through Netflix to find something semi bearable. I just want to go to the cinema, buy the biggest popcorn and drink they offer and see James Bond kick ass on the big screen.
