There are some BT investors out there who will have benefitted from this steep rise and it would be good to hear from them on this board.

You are correct to point out that the share price is still quite low compared to higher levels reached during its 40 year history. Indeed some analysts are suggesting a fair price for BT shares is in the region of £4.

In my opinion this is not the right time to encourage a takeover bid for BT.

I do not want the company to be sold off for peanuts.
