Feels like a victory to me lol

Sometimes things change. I would rather have a great update 2 weeks later than one saying nothing. I am keeping an open mind. Yes, the dangling is highly frustrating, i have vented to many times in the past and sold out in disgust. But there is still a lot here to play for - not all is lost yet.

I have some sympathy for AT, he is caught between a rock and a hard place. The fact he is still there speaks volumes and indicates to me that not all is lost.

The snail is Glencore. That is the issue.

Not sure what a lot of people are seeing in this RNS. A lot of unwarranted panic?

Only slight issue is I thought they would have updated their cash position with this RNS. However I suspect this will come with a more general update soon.

What are "strategic" investors anyway? I did wonder about this in the September RNS.
Is that code word for..
-national interest investment? ie China
- new continent (Africa) for a large miner?eg FMG
- or is it simply strategic in that a whole Zanaga sale is so massive..only a few multinationals can afford it?

You announce and ink a deal and put in a long stop date for due diligence and final acceptance. Not an insurmountable issue ground due diligence.

Zanaga work was mainly done by Xstata, not some random Aim minnow. This is probably one of the most studied to death iron ore projects anywhere. COIDIC have had ages to sniff around. Not to mention the interest in 2013/2014.

China can travel to ROC no issue. Glencore offices everywhere, surely China too.
And so on..

On paper, all the stars are aligned here, but will Glencore allow it to happen? That is the question..

Maybe they knew they did not need much more finance.
Maybe the latest deadline is missed for a big reason.
