GreenRoc Accelerates their World Class Project to Production as Early as 2028. Watch the full video here.
We do not necessarily need a port and pretty sure it would not be the Halcrow one anyway. I am sure we can whip up the planned for jetty in 48 months, or less.
I fully agree MM, this a stonking buy imo, especially with the weight of potential that is implied with all the recent news in Congo and indeed globally as you have so well outlined in recent weeks.
Yes, the timing is interesting but remember correlation does not necessarily imply causation. We can be cautiously hopeful!
I am too old for childish games. We had the exact same BS last time round 6 years ago when the clique and Messiah ran off to their private message board :-)
Seen it all the last 11 years so I just smile.
Anyway, nothing concrete is known for AD ports with regard to a dedicated mineral port.
We don't know if the costings or plans have been left behind. More than likely be a "from scratch design" with modern requirements and bulk handling plus updated needs from all the companies queued up to export minerals. Anyway, nothing concrete is known for AD ports with regard to a dedicated mineral port. And the potential Arise IIIp mentions for this are still rudimentary. But let's see what happens in the coming weeks, it all seems ripe for progress (hopefully).
One more thing on PIC SEZ, the master plan picture does show a modest little harbour. I would not vouch for this an engineering design lol

Also, the dedicated website for Arise IIPs Pointe Noire SEZ seemingly makes no mention of mineral port. (The Plateformes Industrielles du Congo – Pointe Noire ). They do show minerals and metals under heading of key investment centres but the blurb makes no mention of iron ore. Still a very vanilla and fairly empty site. But you can subscribe to newsletter there for updates. Maybe it will spring to life soon. I think they also have a twitter feed.

To be honest, when I first posted the Arise port news end of May last year I was a bit sceptical. It seemed a bit of an add-on bit to the sez info and the port is a massive undertaking. But hopefully maybe there will be an update soon on potential plans?
"One last observation. This is all for a Phase 1 of $500m. What might Phase 2 be? A full blown mineral port, perhaps?" MM
Feet on the ground peeps.
Arise IIP article mentioned new mineral port last year.

Sorry, have I missed something, what new mineral port? There was only speculation about a Phase 2 here.
Guffers (ATG preferably :-) ), can live with the current round of MM extreme enthusiasm for the interesting posts and I have forgiven the past injustices. I just want a happy solution to this for us all and particularly myself of course. I do believe the major shareholders in Zioc all want a massive payback just like we do. Fingers crossed, hopefully a positive RNS news in days rather than months.
In the South China Post today..
29 Apr 2023
"China looks to West Africa for iron ore supplies
Chinese firms have made major investments in mining projects in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, which have extensive high-quality reserves
The move could help Beijing diversify supplies and reduce its current reliance on Australia for iron ore."

Actual logged close was 9.75p. Holding steady.
Oh yeah, my wife calls it "bloddy Zanaga" and sighs each time it is mentioned.
Been in and out since 2012. Pre LSE posted on ii discussion board until they right royally phooked it up.
Some peeps obviously do not have a mirror in the house. Nor many brain cells.
The mile long nose filled with BS.
If the EPC is completed this should be a go. God knows what the finance terms will be but this is so clapped out there should still be substantial mcap improvement on full go ahead. Would love to invest but currently still feel I could lose the whole lot.
Anyways Minors, nobody will challenge your workings as we cannot reliably handle all those 0000000s on the calculator.
Still feels too high risk for me personally. Too many uncertainties. Would rather buy in with less profit but more certainty.
