Very nice to see Cine stock non-correlated to the global markets.
I just saw at the cinema the new trailer of the Batman it looks awesome… looking forward to it
The price of an asset depends on its cash flow mainly this will skyrocket as soon as they will announce that the dividends will be distributed but we need first to decrease the debt! Patience is the key
52 movies for Jan 2022 vs. 165 movies in the same period for 2019. Is it a fact people want to go back to the cinema if we have disaster Box Office it’s 100% because of a lack of movies not because of Cineworld or people
It means that there’s a lack of liquidity
Went to the cinema with friends and family to watch Nightmare Alley. What a nice movie. You should all go and see the movie
Newbie there is Uncharted as well
Just went to my local Cineworld saw Kingsman with wife was a great movie I really liked it. 70% full with drinks and food for a Tuesday evening it was brilliant
Great year ahead of us
Almost $1 billion for December 2021 not too bad.
Happy new year all of you wishing you a great success for your investments!!
2017/2018 is not relevant as Cineworld acquired Regal during 2018 for c. $3.55bn. What we can see on the top of the dividend distribution and the remaining cash flows at the end of 2019 is that there was a capital expenditure of $461M which has been halved in 2020. So it means that in total Cine can have c1bn$ ($200M + $530M +$461M). I agree with you that 2019 was a very good year but with the current ticket price and the saving Cine made during the lockdown I am sure they can made half of billion of cash in 1 year. I hope it helps.
Yuri in 2019 Cine distributed $520M of dividends.
So in total they had $720M of cash which in 10 years they can refund 100% of the debt even less with the inflation.
Anyway I don’t know why you’re wasted your time to scare the new investors here!!!
Hey Bonker i think the government is looking at the oil price as well. They don’t want the oil price to be high as they (western countries) want to sanction Russia. They are buying times in the meantime the Electric cars industry is growing very fast. The energy transition is happening now. So now that the oil price is at 68$ which is ok compare to 72 last week and 84$ 3 weeks ago. They want to do a lockdown to keep the oil price down. IMO
If it’s true - for how long? 2 weeks one month ? Nothing will change. It will be 50% capacity that’s it. IMO
By the 27th SpiderMan will reach the billion
Was the cinema packed as we heard on social media?
I know it’s not an easy one but take into consideration that in 2019 Cine distributed $520 million in dividend (if I am not mistaken) that would mean no dividends for shareholders for the next decade. So $5bn in total in addition to the cash that would be ok. But I agree to your point it’s only my view
Best movie ever
Chaps make sure you will visit Cineworld at least twice before Christmas with Popcorns hotdogs Prosecco
NoFear predicted that the SP could reach easily 150-180. He needed the money that’s what he said before leaving. He didn’t know about the judgement but in terms of the Box office now we all know that the demand is here.
90% of pre Covid numbers with only less than half of releases compare to 2019/2018
