Naira crashed in June 2023 when the govt. implemented free-floating. IPO still went ahead in July 2023 and no mention about the uncertainty caused by Nigerian Naira?
Book building doesn't look like it is going well. They keep extending the application deadline.
More than likely the sellers are the so called long term institutional investors cashing in on their IPO shares while they can still make a profit. Most of the trades are type "A" which are mainly institutional sellers.
When is the qualifying date to receive Atome shares or is the date not determined yet?
So basically if the response for the shares are poor we will get full allocation. In other words Primarybid investors are a dumping ground
Retail investors were invited to participate in the previous two round of placing through Primarybid. Now that Uranium is a hot commodity with their prices moving up rapidly suddenly their city mates want to get into the company on the cheap and retail investors are left out.
Looks like another down day. Who are the sellers? I can only assume they are the so called long term investors who got their shares at IPO price and cashing in. I think this will drop below £5 next week.

Thanks for your advice
Volcano, which broker did you used to buy at IPO? I was able to buy into IPOs previously thru Pello but they are currently suspended.
If they are unlikely to achieve the full £40m equity raise why are they closing the placing early?
I am in for £10k. This is an excellent deal. Can't understand why nomlungu thinks it is disappointing.
Why?
Offer at 67.5p and yet sellers are out selling at huge discount to the possible offer price. Under the takeover codes, is Ganfeng allowed to buy shares on the open market? If so, surely they will do so and save themselves a chunk of money.
Malvolio, I had the issue too on Android. Works fine on Iphone. I have complained about this ongoing issue before but Primarybid has not bothered to resolve this issue.
Bannistuta, is your issue because the amount you are applying for is different to what appears on your screen? I tried applying for £5k but kept showing my application is only for £100.
Judging by the large selling going through, the institutions that were allocated millions of shares are selling out for a quick profit. On the other hand most of Primarybid's subscribers that were allocated up to a maximum of £2,500 worth of shares are holding on.
Jman, 20p is the nominal value of the share. All shares have nominal values which have no direct relation to their market value. For example Ocado's nominal value is 2p and yet they are trading at around £21.
Just utter tosh. The maximum allowed to PB was Euro8 million but in this case only £3 million was allocated to PB. It is all in favour of their city mates. We are treated like cheap underwriters - if their city mates don't take up their allocation then they dumped it on us. I intend to write to PB to complain. Whilst I understand this is beyond PB's control they should come to an agreement in advance on a method of allocating shares to their clients before undertaking to use us as cheap underwriters.
