With the lower barrier to entry from the Main Market, there are many attractions for investors. Not least, of course include the potential for explosive growth. Couple this with concession for UK citizens in managing succession and it is easy to get carried away with a tide of euphoric bliss.
But with a lightly regulated AIM market, checks and balances that can sometimes seem frustrating are not as evidenced or policed when compared with the main market, so the potential for flawed decision is elevated.
Typically, the greatest percentage growth is usually seen in the smaller and by implication, nimbler company(ies), and for me that holds attraction.
