It could happen , Germans buying a British made test .
Bit like the Uk buying a Chinese test
It would be so nice to have international orders and not to have to rely on the the Clusterfck that is DHSC
"We have this huge testing capacity that we just didn't have in the autumn of hundreds of thousands of tests a day that are available which is expanding as (Labour MP Matt Western) articulated.
"We have these lateral flow tests which are simple and easy to use, and you get the result back and we've got millions of them.
There have been loads of 50000 and 25000 sells in the last few weeks to knock the price back. Coupled with the paid de-rampers here . Suggests to me something is going on. It must be shorting by a large player I guess .
If purely a short it's a very risky tactic.
Could there be other reason's ?
PS there are about 20 people that just bring up green boxes on my page, so don't bother replying (you know who you are)
Yes !
I am £40k down at the mo but not concerned . this type of co will blow in a nano second . Any mention of large Pharma and we are off. The stable of products is wide and it only needs one to come good.
Time will tell
Based on the trades , looks like we have lost some really big players !!
up 9% from 5% down first thing .
Some gov news later ?
Ms Dorries told the programme: "We do have variants of concern on one hand, on the other hand we have the capacity to lateral flow twice test everybody in the UK,
How many more clues do people need ?
Agree , if you look at the tweets Omega has put out re great things etc. If big orders do not arrive Colin could be hauled up in front of the FCA. Colin is NOT the sort of guy to take a risk like that .
Happy days folks , all building nicely
While we wait for the UK Government to announce their selected test for production, we're busy supporting the national effort through the provision of cassetting and pouching services for a government-contracted third-party #COVID19 rapid Lateral Flow Antigen Test.
Would this be for Surescreen ?
Agreed , I don't think Colin is the type spend time and money producing products that have no chance of getting orders.
Wow , just listened to this , even if 50% of their treatments work , this company will be a medical game changer .
Who knows what it could be worth , looking forward to the news over the next 6 months
Lateral flow tests 'offer great prospects' for the UK, says Boris Johnson
Boris Johnson said that lateral flow tests "offer great prospects" for the UK and insisted they are "very useful" in helping to isolate cases of coronavirus.
The Prime Minister told reporters during a visit to Wrexham: "I do think that the whole lateral flow test issue is very important.
"The lateral flow tests offer great prospects for the country. People, I think, try to sort of rubbish them and say, 'well, you get too many false positives'.
"Actually, a lateral flow test can be very, very useful in helping to isolate cases of the disease, getting people to take themselves out of circulation and stop the speed of the spread of the disease.
"So, I'm a big believer in lateral flow tests and would encourage everybody to make use of them."
Looking positive , but so annoying that we find out more via other companies results page .
Time to Man up Omega , you have shareholders that deserve to know what's going on
Does that tie in with Hanc**K at 3.30 ?
Hanc**K on at 3.30 today , lets hope he outlines testing strategy in more detail
So has this decision been the hold up with issuing Accustem shares , now resolved, so shares issues soon ???
Hmmm up 9% at the mo
Piece just in from The Telegraph
PM hints that cheap lateral flow tests could replace PCR as standard for travel
Asked whether cheaper and more rapid lateral flow tests could be allowed to fulfil these testing requirements, the Prime Minister said: "I do think we want to make things as easy as we possibly can.
IN the Daily Telegraph as well
Everyone in the country will be encouraged to take two Covid tests a week to show they are not infected, Boris Johnson will announce on Monday.
The rapid lateral flow tests will be paid for by the Government and can be delivered to homes free of charge from Friday.
The multi-billion-pound expansion of testing is designed to catch Covid outbreaks early as the economy reopens.
While the tests are voluntary, the announcement could pave the way for workplaces or businesses to ask staff or customers to show they have a negative result.
The Government is also understood to be considering how the mass testing system could form part of an official “Covid certification” scheme, through which the public would be required to prove they have been vaccinated, show an up-to-date negative test result or prove that they have antibodies from recent infection in order to attend events or venues.
live price going mad !
