What is "PLUS"?
Cineworld has delayed their results. Whenever a company does this, its usually seen as a negative. Hence the price falls.
Lol, what a mess
The results must be so bad that they probably delayed it
Yeah, there almost definetely needs to be some type of restructuring. Although cinema sites are not easy assets to sell, the only realistic buyers would Odeon or Vue. If bought for non-cinema purposes, any buyer would need to spend a significant amount of money to change any cinema sites too. They could sell them off for housing I guess!

I'm still working on filtering out all the fake accounts you've created today! Taking ages!
Is there a separate forum site where we are permitted to discuss short selling?
You wont be able to afford your rent after tomorrow pal.
Will you unblock me when I go long cine? :)
A leisure stock in the US announced a rights sale yesterday and the SP dropped 17%. But it is currently in a far better financial position than CINE.
So suspect a rights issue will drop the CINE share price around 30%. Maybe more
funny part is y'all are more poor than shorterguy. and will be even poorer tomorrow lol
@Zorro, happy to comment. Pre-covid Cine had a debt/equity ratio of 2.6x, which is dangerously high. Add Covid cash burn onto that, and it's a bankruptcy territory. I don't think anyone here does any proper financial analysis themselves, they just invest on the SP or noise.
If you look at the financials, a share dilution is the only way they can realistic stave off bankruptcy and save the company.
your bolox must be sweating buckets tonight mate, tomorrow morning you're investment is going to vanish before your eyes
Another fake account
May never reach 47p, as theres a good chance cineworld will go bankrupt
I wonder which of you desperate joe's had to set up a fake account to save your ailing investment lol. So sad.
I just read their giving a trading update. As they've been shut, I suspect it will be a loss of hundreds of millions. But i would have thought that is already priced in at the moment.
What results are tomorrow? I don't see anything on the cineworld website.
