Hopefully all these cancellations are due to a new fuel that has been developed...imagine that 😉

I mean technically JM did develop orimulsion but when he worked for BP. He just fine tuned it at quadrise.

I think it was a few months ago JM said they are very busy with all projects on the go and he expects lots of updates over the summer. Apart from an update which was actually stating what another company has achieved we seen to have entered the quadrise vacuum again. Would be great to have something tangible to talk about again.

Totally agree. Partly as anything will likeky be quicker than MSC doing the agreement !!

I would like to think the first two ifs are a formality but the third is interesting. In previous RNS it sounded as if SB already had already lined up customers for the fuel but we shall see. If all three of those ifs do come to fruition how quickly do we think this could happen? 3 months? 6 months?

Sounds like they are fully aware of the problems methanol poses and probably want a piece of action with MSAR and bioMSAR again. Imagine that if the delay in the marine trial was down to Maersk wanting back in!!

Sorry if people already mentioned this but did anyone see the comment on Jasons LinkedIn post about hydrogen from 2 weeks ago. Some guy who is director of green technologies for Maersk North America posted on it a week ago about the issues with green Methanol.

...we are aiming to source some straws imminently and then we shall begin to trial clutching at them!

A month or so sounds like a sensible time from when things are signed off to actually fuelling the ship. Can't see it in days.

The way I see it if we get to 20p that would mean we are likely in commercial contracts with OCP and MSC and UTAH. If we get to 20p then I would sell off minimal as it would likely only be the start of a global roll out. Genuinely think if we hit 20p then 50p and a pound is just a matter of time. Guessing JM hope so too with all his blue chip talk!!

My next up guess has to be OCP big trial started or refinery sourced for current commercial framework, or utah samples received and successfully converted to MSAR/BioMSAR. MSC update could be anytime mind!

I'm still entreagued as to what the market reaction would be to a blockbuster of a marine agreement RNS. I know JM said he felt that there would be a rerating but whats people's thoughts. Could we see a rise to 5-6p quickly or even higher. Obviously the process would likely rise as the LONO progressed but what do people think the initial reaction would be. It's as if failure of the marine project is already priced in at the moment!!!!

So a few have mentioned on here the obvious links between tye Morocco project, Utah, the marine projects, the South Asia refinery and Americas projects. It does seem that all hugely linked with regards to fuel feedstock, supply and bunkering globally etc. I know someone else previosuly got stung for using the word conceivable but is there a change MSC have been waiting for all these projects to hit a certain point in that in 6 months time when the LONO may be nearly finished there is a global distribution network possible for MSC refueling etc.

I would hope once this Utah projects gets a bit of traction there will be a lot more interest from the US investors. Has been pretty quiet the last few days but I do wonder if that interest will increase hugely once the testing has been done and the oil is moving

I thought Maersk ended the agreement, thus no longer have a hold over the IP.

What do people think the points of contention are? If it is just an agreement for the trial I would have thought it would be rather straight forward. It seems as if there must be more long term considerations going on!

I would genuinely love if the marine agreement was signed in the next few weeks.
