How long is a piece of string ? We saw the price hit £3.99 on the successful sidetrack drill after the disappointment of the 1st dry hole. I think that was a case of a huge sigh of relief that JOG was a oil company that had actually found oil in the up well with a minimum of 25 million barrels. Aswell as that I believe around 8 million shares were also traded on the great news which did attract the herd for 24hrs. With regards to the share price on a successful appraisal then pick a number minimum £6 ? Maximum £10 - £12 IMO of course. MGW has his sights on a 5 Bagger from the current SP. GL AJAX

They will announce the appraisal drill programme before then but it won't be life changing news with regards to the share price as we will only see a massive uplift dependant on the size of the resource. I do expect it to rise pre-drill probably around the £2.50 - £2.70 level but that's my opinion as I could be wrong. But i do see this as a long wait until we know the quantity of the oil resource with verbier. Until then it's lights out. GL AJAX

Minimum 6 Month wait for Big news unless they come up with an aquisition but it looks unlikely until after the appraisal drill. Bottom drawer job now this & not worth checking on a daily basis IMO. GL AJAX

In its final phase with the MoPNG so hopefully not long now as this depends on the 2nd Tranche of shares coming into the market. GL AJAX

Doesn't surprise me one little bit the share price and we may see £1.70 again ? However opportunities for me to buy some more as it probably will touch on £2.25 - £2.30 once again in the coming months. I will use my next purchase just so I can trade with but leave my existing holding alone. GL

Gibbo.....I agree entirely with you and as i stated last week this is now a very long wait for news. However I'm not selling any and will add on the dips as I expect this could drop possibly around the £1.80 - £1.70 level once again as money will drift in and out until we here news for the date of the appraisal drill. Unless aquisition news lands ? ( Which it may or may not ) GL

When you look at the LSE top risers board today and see the number 1 riser up 3.28% then there's the answer. A few good opportunities today buying at the lows on some stocks. GL

Neither.......It's a long wait until the summer simple as that.

Rover......They already knew back in October the appraisal was around 11million and 6 million for cortina + the 0.5 million spent on the technical studies for the appraisal drill. Verbier priority maybe but look at the outlook now for oil $82 possibly in 6 months so have they missed the boat by not making an aquisition earlier ? Disappointing that no acquisitions have been made and now I don't see one happening until the appraisal drill is done & dusted in the summer. Hopefully then a sale of the 18% Verbier license depending on the commercial find/resource. However things could change on the flip of a coin but in the meantime it's a long wait in the market place. I don't expect the share price going any higher than £2.40 between now and the appraisal drill in the summer. The only time this will move considerably is when the BOD finalise an aquisition deal and then we will see a huge uplift but until then it will be up and down. 5 - 6 months is one hell of a wait on AIM & we all know it's news driven. Until then it's bottom drawer & switch off time. We have a very long wait. GL AJAX

Hopefully a move on the share price then mid/end of March with the funding and shareholder approval.

We all knew that an appraisal well drill would be on the cards so I didn't expect anything different from the RNS. I believe the technical studies that have been carried out by Statoil since the sidetrack are in the region of £500,000 ( Money well spent ) and now we have the green light for the drill in the summer. Exciting times lie ahead for 2018 but my only slight concern is we will see the share price drift over the coming months until we get confirmation of the drilling date. On the flip side there is always the chance of aquisition news which we still wait patiently for but difficult to say if it will arrive before the drill or after ? GL
