In yesterdays RNS GL confirmed "We now look forward to progressing operations at the Company's existing portfolio as previously outlined to Shareholders". Now as Brockham is part of our portfolio and we have previously been given a timetable of operations for the works at Brockham it's fair-to-say GL is clearly telling shareholders Brockham is proceeding to the next stage which would involve bringing on site full well testing equipment and commencing flow tests. If the "progressing operations" does not happen then GL would now be guilty of misleading shareholders and that's not going to happen as his reputation would be in tatters. Brockham well testing will happen shortly!!!! It's in yesterday's RNS!!!!
The SP is 100% being walked down deliberately by the BOD for a reason. I agree with you Mt008 and it would explain the deliberate damping down of expectations by GL on Brockham. I suspect he's trying to lower the perceived value of Brock in order to push one or more of our partners into settling for a much lower price. It clever negotiating and would enplane the negative sentiment and BOD silence.
E_AL & Onbeyondzebra ,
Two of the best posts on the Angus LSE board I have read for months!!! If only these guys could understand the long term damage they have inflicted on all Weald players. Thankfully there credibility is now terminally damaged and the vast majority of investors can see straight through them.
UKOG takes on a new contractor, Apex Completions from the US to "help the Company further develop its understanding of the Portland and Kimmeridge reservoirs". Please take note Angus BOD !!! This is a great move for UKOG utilising Apex's vast experience in shale oil. Must admit I held my breath and glad to see no 16:31 RNS from Angus today.
GLA and lets hope Scotland get off to a wining start to the 6 nations tomorrow
Dimvest a guy on lse and twitter Slas242 claims he had a conversation with a former colleague who works as an independent oil reservoir and well performance and optimisation consultant. This colleague has apparently information that a second nitro stim was carried-out and the well logging suggests it was a success and the fractures have cleaned-up. Is it standard to run logging tools down after stim? Can they actually tell from the logging if the fractures cleaned-up?
Stach great post thanks!!! Whatever PV's reasons were to suspend operations over Christmas it was his nail-in-the-coffin for sure. If it was a forced operational suspension I have some empathy for him but why no explanatory RNS? However, if as you are suggesting, he took the decision to close the site over the holiday's due to the board-room-battle then he's the Tool sorry (fool) of brockham. He let-down the shareholders at a crucial time and totally killed the share price. The truth will come-out soon enough!!!!
If we have had nitrogen delivered on-site today then clearly we are still in the process of stimulating the well using nitrogen. We have had oil takers so we have oil in the well. It's taking it's time but it will flow
