Interesting news from Trident re DeFi.

The merger comes at a time when DeFi is maturing from its "wild west" beginnings into a blockchain-based financial economy with offerings increasingly catered towards sophisticated investors.

It also underscores the ongoing trend of consolidation within the crypto industry. There were 88 mergers and acquisitions in the first four months of 2025, according to Architect Partners, putting this year on track to surpass the record years of 2022 and 2024.

I see eToro are just about to go onto Nasdaq with 10m shares and an offering price of 575m! One to watch for US traders.

Nero June and July should see some serious people taking positions in line with results and the Nasdaq timeline, for us this is so cheap right now and people really should be taking advantage of such a low price IMO.

Listing Timeline

While it generally takes four to six weeks to process a listing application, this time frame is variable and maybe shortened

considerably, if the application raises no issues and the company responds quickly to Staff comments.

Week 1. Company submits application for listing and Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Staff begins its review.

Weeks 2-3. Staff completes its preliminary review and prepares comment letter.

Weeks 3-6. Company addresses any issues raised by Staff.

Weeks 7-8. Staff completes their review and company is approved for listing.

Coming up for 7 months since the HoT's were signed.

Not sure Billy but there is something new happening nearly each week, im guessing now they've been integrated they both go down together whilst updating, although we are still to find out exactly what this integration means. Im struggling to believe that Shayne would post rockets pre integration without meaning it, I think one day it just becomes clearer and the market will be shocked, whether that's through results or a surprise RNS.

What also could shock the market is the announcement of the Semnet listing, if we get updated that the paperwork is complete and it's all ready to go, could be around 10 weeks for it to float, and that will be a sharp rise in share price in those 10 weeks.

Still dirt cheap imo, heres to a good few months and a blockbusting 2025.

We are certainly not priced at anything to do with Semnet listing right now, another multi million $ contract or news of that listing and we fly from this price point.

Results of being profitable with zero losses should definitely come, Metapay acquisition and how that fits would be good, new appointments at Bake and some Bake/GS20 figures and we're off again.

Plenty of news could come before results that could catapult this SP back upwards, however thats the chance you take in investing. Personally I'd rather be in before any news comes. Easy short term bag from here with the right one. Semnet could see multi bags from here. Stay sophisticated.

Muldoon, obviously im putting 2 and 2 together here which could equal anything if im honest, im just hopeful he perhaps could come to us giving the timing and Shayne's comment, it may amount to nothing, but he would be a very good appointment. Pretty sure Shayne hasn't moved to Lithuania either.

BfD it was Shayne Tan commenting 'the best is yet to come' and the fact they have been recruiting recently, so im just wondering whether he is.

I hope so, he lives/works in Singapore and would be a great addition. Fingers crossed.

I really hope he's coming to us, his resume is very impressive, young, talented and already very experienced, just what we need going forward, i very much doubt he would change jobs into something he didn't believe in, fingers crossed we get another post from him saying he's joining BAKE/GS20.
