Billy i agree, the only incompetence I can see lies with the Fca for simply dragging their heels whilst the ROW have been readying for this.

I think Lord Wellesley has a major role to play here and has obviously been assisted Gst for months now.

Looking through this report, the MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) are miles ahead of the UK with regards to the issuing and using stablecoins, hence why they are referenced by UK Finance, we have a BoD from that area so it makes sense that they were probably modelling their plans using MAS regulations not realising that the FCA are way behind them and Europe. Time to catch up.

If you hadn't noticed, that UK finance paper was released 2 days ago.

Gst launched their stabecoins in Nov 2021.

They are more than ready for anything the Fca have to say and by the looks of things, it was the Fca who were not ready. Well things are quite rapidly (in Fca terms) changing.

I won't apologise for stating a fact Splatted, the bloke is as dense as a forest, as is Jam, they make a terrible little tag team.
