I say Bunny swallow your pride and get into bed with a major,the reflected glory alone would soon move the share price upwards,this going it alone mindset is a romantic dream! I suspect that "digging in the dirt" by Peter Gabriel is the song that most shared holders want to be hearing, after we get the MRE,the tiny amount of investors here are not really representative of the massive amount of holders here who in the real world will probably sell on the news and drop the share price,I'd we haven't got funding in place soon afterwards.

It seems that EEE are not looking for a major to JV with, but rather funding from other avenues.That probably means a longer orphan period whilst negotiating with would be suiters takes place.I could obviously be wrong and a major comes on board, but I get the feeling that won't be happening.

Tim, why not put your £500 in a nice safe 1.5% bank account, rather then do what grown-ups who aren't afraid of a few risks do...and actually invest their money.

Dusty?l actually agree with you on the real sauce being the details of the MRE rather than just the numbers,I remember you bringing it up before...but I thought I'd bring it up myself too,because the financial plan needs to be as impressive as the figures of our find.

The Australian Government hasn't as of yet offered Empire any direct funding for the project, which is different from a tax-incentive scheme now is it? and we will obviously need to raise a mountain of money one way or another, which is the most important part of the MRE announcement rather than the fact we already know it's a massive find.

I'm not so sure that the Australian Government would be too happy about that! ...but it might incentivise them to give Empire some grants/loans.

IG, because there's also no broker fees,I hold about 175k shares with II... but I did buy on the last trading day before they decided to stop selling DH.I have my main holding with Fidelity.

Tim,RR have 8.3 billion shares compared to DH wth 2.1,so there's more liquidity,HSBC have over 17 billion shares...you see where I going with this? Obviously,II own big swathes of each, but there are still more free-floating shares available.
