The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Theoretical question Banburyboy as you are the biggest bear here?
If Bell managed to secure tha DRC payment (I know, don't go there) would you be tempted to put some cash in here with a view to the larger $430 million potential claim?
Is not being an operator a flawed buisness plan? Certainly as far as many of UJO's investments it would appear to be a problem, as the partners have difficulty raising funds to fulfil their part of tha planned works or drag their heels even when cas rich. UJO were lucky with Wressle, although there is now a question mark as to how the well is performing and unfortunately David hasn't set the record straight. UJO has previous form withholding information with their leaked placings. They won't be able to hide these figures forever as all will be revealed in a few months, although 3 months delayed. Watch and learn and all will be revealed.

Bell needs to hire someone like this guy to do his interviews. Articulate, good information, not the wooly Bell style. Gave some info on green lithium. How does RRR grades hold up???
Ocelot. That was when the SP was around 0.6p and the m/c was approximately 18 million. Easier to raise funds against that. The value now is a twelfth of its value then. A proactive CEO and management could do something with what is left but unfortunately those running the show have no concept of using a small budget to grow a company, only how to turn a large budget into a small one, as proven.
The drop in SP maybe tells the tale of declining Wressle output and increased water ingress, although David won't RNS the bad news if that is the case. History here tells of a leaky ship and a management who doesn't put its shareholders first so the need to read between the lines is important. Time will tell.
