Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Those of you expecting the captive bank and SH news in a bog standard pre-scheduled trading update should expect disappointment IMO. The board can't just advance plan news releases. If deals have been signed, they need to be RNS'ed. You can't withhold market sensitive stuff until it suits you.
...why do so many posters here not get it??? The London Stock Exchange listings have their SP's expressed in pennies. Current SP is a fraction of a penny; not 47p! It's either 0.47p or £0.0047. Educate yourselves.
...at what price? And how many shares? Any thoughts? Could they double shares in issue at a price of 10p?
....a trading update no less. So nothing earth shattering by sounds of it. Meanwhile ppl here claiming game changing news by the end of this week lol
Very poor show now. Obviously something going on beyond mere admin technicalities. I suspect it isn't even close to being relisted. These people guaranteeing 'news tomorrow' are just liars I'm afraid. You'd better hope there is good news before any relist. Otherwise this will tank imho.
Have you guys seen the new CGT hike proposals??? Talking about 40%!! It's ludicrous. If the Conservatives do that the stock exchange will get hammered. They obviously don't give a toss about retail investors. Seen as a soft target.
....they should release it now, on a Friday. Helps to maintain an orderly market, which is what a reasonable plc is obliged to do if they have price sensitive information. Would also build up anticipation and allow weekend reports and articles to circulate with speculation regarding the value of that news to the SP. Dumping big news on the relist day would not maximise the optimum beneficial effects.
....lying basts
...excrement show here now. P poor of board to have gotten themselves into this position. No excuses for such basic admin mistakes. Now this mess. Could be long drawn out affair IMO.
Cheers Dazzle. That's really useful intel. Lots to weigh up but still exciting.
How is the 15% performance fee paid? Annually? In cash or shares? That's quite a lot!
On the subject of ANIC, Mellon is quoted in an article as saying "We want to invest about $500 million by the end of 2021". That could easily require issuing 5 billion shares if the average placing SP was 10p these next 11 months? Am I missing something? Guess it makes the future gains less attractive if that's the level of dilution planned. Anyone have some insights? This is a long-term hold scenario but if you get diluted into oblivion for being patient, it's obviously less appealing. Has Mellon ever discussed the placing strategy?
This is P poor communication from SYME board and to be suspended over something so basic is also unprofessional af. I have zero emotional connection here....was just a punt. But come on...the company should never have been suspended. It's incompetence.
The addressable market is insane, over a 5-10 year period. Cellular agri and plant-based meat substitutes represent game changing and disruptive tech, that can literally change the world as we know it. The BlueNalu investment alone could be worth billions in the future if they can maintain a ~2% stake up to IPO stage. I'm waiting to throw a bit in here but I feel strongly that a placing could be on the way. At what price though? 100million shares at 10p? It makes sense for the BoD to ride the wave of having a strong MCAP against the stated NAV though. Investing in these companies early will reap rewards later on. Like I said, I don't hold yet....but hopefully will soon. My expectation would be that if they raise intelligently, don't get greedy, and the market grows consistently (and hence helps keep the mcap sensible), then they won't need to add any more than a billion new shares to the circulation from this point onwards (1.5 billion in total). I'm watching this with interest. I'm obviously not the only one; otherwise, why such SP strength? I hope I don't miss out sitting on the sidelines!
Kind of hilarious! Wish it was true.
Hi all, been interested in plant-based meat substitutes and cellular agriculture for years. It's the future...no doubts. And i think it will be a multitrillion pound industry by 2030. I'm massively impressed the board have invested so well in the likes of BlueNalu and Meatable. But the SP is well above published NAV. They'd probably be fools not to take advantage and raise some more investment capital? Any insights/thoughts on future fund raising potential here in the near term? Definitely think it's worth putting in a few grand here and waiting 5 years. They can't really fail with this portfolio, unless they are incompetent! If this industry is as big as I think it will be, these shares could be worth £20 in 5 to 10 years IMO.
I sold my GGP shares for £2,900 a few years ago when there was some news that saw me lose over 70% of the value of my shares when the Newcrest MoU was ended, or something to that effect. I had 340K shares. I sold out of disillusionment. Had I held, I could have sold for £90K at the recent peak. Total disaster from my perspective as I got completely wiped out by AIM after multiple huge losses, and boy could I do with £90K right now. Congratulations to those of you that have made big gains here though. Could be life changing for many of you.
Does anyone still hold fct tokens? If so, what do you plan to do with them? Sell, leave, or swap for bitcoin? Factom protocol looks totally finished now. Inc have been USELESS...and the rest of the standing parties are useless. Not business focussed at all. Had high hopes for factom but it looks dead and buried now.
Factom has been so badly run by Paul Snow that it's actually laughable. All that potential wasted by sheer incompetence.
Progress is painfully slow. Funding must b an issue soon. FCT token seems dead in the water and even PegNet has massively run out of steam. Inc have been VERY disappointing - performance wise - these past few years. They'd better have an ace up their sleeves soon because the protocol could easily b abandoned if the limited liquidity and poor rewards continue.
