Placings are a relevant part of a BB granted but let’s change the subject a tad and think about other things following on from a placing:
1) 4mil why that amount? The next drill is estimated to only cost that much so it can’t be that just for the remaining 700 meters that’s dodgy otherwise
2) How much is it estimated a water injector into 102 for 101 would cost? (If someone else could also email David this I would be very thankful, as he never replies to me. Also I can’t anything that I would be happy calling credible online)
3)Cos is determined by multiplying the chances of each individual aspect that make up the Cos. Namely: trap, reservoir, seal breach and oil rim.
Trap=70%
Reservoir=80%
Seal breach=90%. (Have always struggled to fully understand this, if someone could help I would
be very appreciative)
Oil rim=50%
So 70*80*90*50/10,000,000 is 25.2%. I think a lot of people believe the reservoir is now higher given what we know with the accuracy so far. Maybe the seal breach no longer is a worry but again I don’t really understand this.
Can anyone disagree or add further to this point?
4) I’ve heard a lot of different calculations based on producing 300 days out of 365 to non stop 24/7 flows. Can anyone back up with evidence what would be a realistic level?
An interesting point from the CPR is 3.3 “opex could be reduced to $62,650/month.........No other additional costs are foreseen other than the variable Opex associated with Crude transport/sales, estimated at $4.12/bbl”
Think Sefton is a Spiv? Good. If he is or isn’t he obviously wants the oil and the SP to rise because it means he will be quids in.
