.......and the sellers have responded; today buys total .834m and sales total 1.908m and the price has risen again. C'mon sellers!
Buys total .820m, sales total 2.941m, price is up!
More sellers needed, please
Buys total 3.9 mill, sales total 1.6 mill, price down 2%.......does that define an 'anamoly'?
As at close, sold 80.8 M versus bought 13.1 m, which reconfirms many investors see little reason to believe in the Company. The only winners are day traders trading their eighths to quarters with no long term view.
What's with today's significant reversal? Must be some inside info circulating.
So typical these days that the day traders, rather than investors, prevent any sustained price growth.
Today, bought 5m, sold 13m, down we go again! So monotonous@
Do the number of shares bought/sold, as shown on LSE South East, have any bearing on the price, or is the price determined by MM's position/book. Watching shares traded each day, the up/down price movements seem illogical, much of the time, in relation to trading figures. It baffles this novice investor.
Once more I'm completely bewildered at how pricing is arrived at!
Volume bought 16 million+, volume sold 5 million+. How can price be down???
If we all want to buy a Lexus will the price be reduced???
This is becoming a worry. Price is freefall!
Shs bt virtually equals sd......why 2%+ going south?
Sold 20m+, bought 8m+, price up over 3%???
It appears that for some time, shares sold far exceed shares bought.
Who is buying these shares? Are traders building up positions?
I appreciate this may be a rhetorical question but it has been noticeable for some time. Even days
when price is up, more sold than bought...
How can the price go down based on today's trading of purchases to sales?
What does a company have to do to encourage investment? Unbelievable reaction today to very good results
Buys total 23 million, sales total 12 million, price down 21%........will never understand concept of supply and demand
Over 12 million sold......what's that all about?
Shares bought almost 4 times share sold yet price DOWN over 4%. What do the traders know that we dont?
Are the figures for no. of shares bought/sold from the investors persective or the traders perspective. If the former, the 25 mill bought vs 13 mill sold leading to 4.5% drop is illogical.
Are the bought and sold figures reliable?
Today's nos show 8.3 million 'bought' while 26.8 million 'sold', yet price up 2.4%.
Anyone who might have noted my odd posting will have seen a common theme of pricing.
It apppears more and more to this naive investor that buy and sell volumes have little bearing on a share's price.
England's gentle approach to hospitality restrictions, plus financial support, might have something to do with it....
