Buys today total 1.3 million, sales total .4 million yet we're down over 5%. Where is the logic in that? If people demand more and more of a commodity, the price will reduce?????

Price way down apparently because of political turmoil! Logically then we've got 2+ more years of Barc in the doldrums. Burnham isn't going to wave a magic wand!!!

Can someone explain to this infrequent investor as to why the price here would dip when rate is reduced. Surely lower rates equate to buying more homes?

Mortgage approvals up in 2nd quarter and interest rates easing, yet no positive effect on the share price.

Conditions IMO would suggest it's a stock to invest in. In this case however, logic has failed.

Can't see what's going to drive up the price because the reasons are all there in the open.

As at close, sold 80.8 M versus bought 13.1 m, which reconfirms many investors see little reason to believe in the Company. The only winners are day traders trading their eighths to quarters with no long term view.

What's with today's significant reversal? Must be some inside info circulating.

So typical these days that the day traders, rather than investors, prevent any sustained price growth.

Do the number of shares bought/sold, as shown on LSE South East, have any bearing on the price, or is the price determined by MM's position/book. Watching shares traded each day, the up/down price movements seem illogical, much of the time, in relation to trading figures. It baffles this novice investor.

Once more I'm completely bewildered at how pricing is arrived at!
Volume bought 16 million+, volume sold 5 million+. How can price be down???
If we all want to buy a Lexus will the price be reduced???
