Sorry about the question marks. They keep popping up where they're not wanted. So if they do again, don't be surprised.
If you say so....I shall abondon all worries and sorrows and start looking at houses in Southern France or Sandbanks, Poole.....ahemmm??
beachandsurf,
make sure you get it right next year. Fingers crossed ??
Sorry Athansius, no idea where those question marks came from....
Happy Holidays Athansius ??
Damn right you are. Father of two myself. How could I forget. Yes....men and children included. Now that's better....again...PHEW
My phone....all screwed up. Good food....FINALLY...
Good good is what I intended to write.
There's more to life besides investing. There's good good, music, literature, lovely women and so on and so forth....a new year is just around the corner and sure enough changes to deal with...good and bad. So let's be optimistic and follow our new year resolutions...and just maybe this world will be a better place for all of us....
Makes me laugh out loud even thinking about it. Must admit my knowledge is very limited, but my belief in hydrogen is the driving force behind my decision to invest in AFC. So bring on the new year.
The phasing out of coal has been a topic for Lord knows how long over here in Germany. They have a strong lobby in certain countries run by the likes of Kaczinski and others who need the votes of people living in regions where goal is keeping them in work. They're gonna use every trick in the book to avoid compliance. In the end it's gonna happen, but it'll still take time and that's one commodity we don't have an abundance of unfortunately. Time will tell....
Are we gonna have a prediction list by the end of this year like we did last time? Will be interesting to see who'll get closest to last years one. My 4.80 for this year was way over the top.
Sack's Law, that's brilliant! Will include this expression in my vocabulary if that's ok with you. Seriously ...love your sense of humour and appreciate your contributions to this forum.
A late THANK YOU to you for answering my question, Agusta. What I value in this forum is the way people correspond with each other. Of course you get some rotten ones occasionally. But show me a place where they aren't.
Hi Agusta, Norway is one of those few places that the rest of us are looking for inspirations and hope. Kind of a beacon of light in the darkness if you will. At least for me as Norwegians strike me as level headed people in their majority. For example....the Norwegian State Fund. It is something that should be exemplatory for other countries no doubt. Are you being well informed about it as to what exactly is being in- or excluded and how do you really benefit from it? Sure, could be looked up online but it's probably better to ask someone like you.
Lehman's gone....a loooong time ago.
Over here in Frankfurt on Tradegate just over 3,5 million traded. Roughly the same as during the last few days. Might be wrong but we didn't have such high turnovers before. And concerning London? 12 million? Impressive....very impressive!
Anything could....riverbeds, lakes...you name it. Don't worry about that. It's been a lovely ride lately and at some point it'll slow down and make some folks wonder if anything's wrong. Fingers crossed
That's a lot to read. Will do so the next few days and then pass it on to the people I know. Won't waste my time with the ones who are not interested. Isn't it strange how lots of people are shying away from the real issues but spend countless hours dealing with banal stuff? No wonder one doesn't really have many friends as one is being deemed as difficult. Hell, I don't care. It's giving me perverse pleasure to ram it down their throats whether they like it or not.
For all that's going in the wrong direction because of Brexit and it's implications....this is something to be grateful for. Hope they don't change any of it. Maybe I ought to relocate part of my money to England as my children are English and therefore in a position to take advantage of it.
Thanks to you both for clearing that one up for me
