Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
We've progressed. It's been glacial but nonetheless we've progressed. We found oil, we got granted an exploitation licence, we got granted a special purpose certification by central govt cabinet, we got vote in favour for land permit from soum, weve got Land Agency, MRPAM and Finance Dept support and now it seems we've had a breakthrough in comms with activists. In addition we've not run out of cash (and have a fall back). Glacial yes but progression yes.
Be fair Proff. WOSs post is a good and helpful summary of yesterday's meeting and not one of his normal type posts.
Only correction is perhaps his report on MBs comment about dealing with parliament in an apolitical way -Im not sure if WOS understood but "apolitical way"means a "NON political way"(not in "A political" way)i.i. we don't favour sides! but that could just be a typo?
Sorry typing on a phone on a train. I meant
it seems we are funded to 2025, we await either the local soum to sign off the LP vote and/or the SCP and with the SPC we know that we have support of cabinet, of MRPAM and the last RNS informed us that the Ministry for Economic Development, which is in charge of stimulating foreign investment in Mongolia has been very active on this (the SPC) issue and is preparing a submission to Cabinet to attempt to remove the obstacles to completing the process.
Hopefully makes more sense.
MB is damned if he does/doesn't isn't he? If he looked casual that would be wrong. If he looks frustrated then ditto.
I wasn't able to listen but from reading the board it seems we are funded to 2025, we await either the local soum to sign off the LP vote and we know that we have support if cabinet, MRPAM and the last RNS informed us that the Ministry for Economic Development, which is in charge of stimulating foreign investment in Mongolia has been very active on this (the SPC) issue and is preparing a submission to Cabinet to attempt to remove the obstacles to completing the process.
In the past 6 years not a single RNS has been good news..
Well a couple have been good. Eg. We found oil, we were granted SPC and local soum voted in favour of us drilling. Also we have MRPM support.
However its just unbelievable that one politician and a couple of college kids are holding us to ransom. We have to get to grips with this. Sue the activists for the misrepresentation. They'll soon stfu surely!
Petro Matad's RNSs always leave more questions than answers. For example, we know that there was a vote in favour of granting the land permit for 2024 drilling season, but no further detail as to what next steps were required to ratify, leadi g to all sorts of assumptionson this site. Personally I assumed that something would be drawn up for the voters to sign off or, simply sign as agreed the minutes of the meeting. However the 1st paragragh of the RNS refers to working with local government agencies (plural).
What OTHER local government agencies? Or Is it just just poor drafting??
· The Company is working with the local government agencies to secure the remaining approvals necessary from Matad District to allow the 2024 operational programme to commence
How is he supposed to answer that? The answer depends on getting the vote formally signed off by the local spum or getting an effective workaround the dornod governor to obtain the special purpose certification and control of either timeline is not in his gift.
It begs the question then, why doesn't Petro Matad have imagery, stating "Petro Matad. A Mongolian Oil Company. Owned by Mongolia for Mongolian People" (or something similar), emblazoned across their site and equipment ??
It also has a bearing on this new law that's ben passed, which people are panicking about.
It is probably fake news. It os written by Creative Forces. When you check it out on LinkedIn it is a mongolisn company with only 5 employee who are listed as artists or marketing professionals (sales marketing) and written in an open source "news" webpage.
At the end of the EIN news article it even states the following:
EIN Presswire's priority is source transparency. We do not allow opaque clients, and our editors try to be careful about weeding out false and misleading content. As a user, if you see something we have missed, please do bring it to our attention. Your help is welcome.
