harley24,
I asked Val Tarquin about 16/09/18 expiry of 9p warrants recently. His reply was not possible to extend date as current price was not at that figure!
Waste of time asking, as I wonder how many more pi`s with held shares in same position. Potential lost revenue for Val.
Still not a problem at present as better to buy at .02375p if required

obone,
PWC bill now estimated at £55 mill and could be less. New broker announced The Share Service majority of transfers start end September.FSCS will pick up client costs up to 50k to cover PWC expenses
Hope we get a deal soon, as do not trust ch + cc. They want to get their share options triggered so 1.6p min to 2p imo
Thanks and GL for the future.
What if Arso do not give their approval?
Is that the end of AST or is the only option to call an egm to request shareholder agreement for further dilution via funding ?
I have only just managed to listen to conference call + LSE interview clearly via tv with quality headphones.
Still not convinced by CH or CC, both appeared hesitant at times imo, as if being economical as usual with the reality.
They clearly have their own agenda to maximise their own payday. I have always believed that PI`s were and are an inconvenience, that are tolerated for their own gain.
What do you all think about CC comment about not revealing details of all offers made, only the best?
It that standard business procedure to give exclusivity to the prime bidder, should there be one?
Shareholders own AST, should we not be entitled to know about all offers, then vote accordingly?
Regarding BOD share options, we do not know details of terms. They award themselves large awards, do we not have any say in it, or is it in the small print and agreed if AGM voting passes resolutions?
Would appreciate your comments
GLA LTH
lejjb,
the exercisable dates for last option show 05-May-19 to 06-May-26 What does that really mean ? Tried a bit of research but didn`t yet find all answers
As usual, we are the shareholders but they do as they want. Wish there options could be blocked until they do there best for pi`s first.
Thanks
Trying to clearly understand how the BOD share option work?
Do they have to purchase shares before selling?
Are they bound by the exercise dates as listed below?

Hi obone,
My connection is I had relatives in Slovenia, that was partly why I originally invested. Things looked fine at one point took some profit Jan 17 but re-invested most of it back is AST UKOG. Long story.
I have not floated through the storm yet. My main holding is stuck in Beaufort Securities. No access until end September at a new broker so have short term cashflow issue.
Like many, still very stressed as ast gains on paper not real for me. Was too naïve and trusting then deceived, Trying to manage situation to make the best of what CH and cc did with 6/8 RNS disaster
Best wishes and GL
Tony
Hi obone,
After Black Monday, I was in a state of shock too. I wanted to sell some other shares and buy more ast but hesitated. I don`t believe anything ch and cc say. Met them told them face to face what I thought at Q&A earlier this year. Just like politicians can look you in the eye and yet knew Pg11a was a big problem and said nothing till later etc.
Lets hope we all get out of this ok soon with something
GLA except ch and cc
The conference call next week is to answer shareholder questions generally.
There was a meeting yesterday between the British Chamber of Commerce, the Environment Agency and ARSO – the British Embassy was NOT involved, and that is an important distinction.
This was not an ‘emergency meeting’ and was part of something Barbara had been doing together with our GM in Slovenia since an interview I gave back in June. I have met with a number of government ministers and Barbara has held a separate series of meetings.
The application is not a ‘form’ to be filled in but is a series of documents. The process is that ARSO review and request amendments – some of these amendments we have considered to be unnecessary and some incorrect, but we are completing them and will have them submitted by the deadlines.
It is not a ‘serious oversight’ it is the permitting process. The volume and the content of these amendments are my biggest frustration with the process. It would be simpler if ARSO would sit and review the document with our team and together agree on a final form but this is not their protocol.
The reason for the RNS on 6 August was to fully update shareholders on the current production from Pg-10 and P-11A, the ongoing permitting process and the strategic review, together with the actions taken by the Board to ensure that the Company is positioned to get through this.
Based on expert advice Pg-11A was expected to clean up and the volume of water being produced to begin decreasing once it had been in operation for a sustained period. When it became clear this was not going to happen we carried out an intervention to attempt to address this.
It wasn’t until March 2018 that it was clear that the well was unlikely to clean up and an operation was required. Until then we were still being advised that once the well had flowed for a period the water volumes would decrease.
Pg-10 has been producing for over a year now so the decreases are not unexpected; these are high pressure unconventional wells and re-stimulations will be required periodically. It is currently completed on a single channel sand; the plan would be for the next stimulation to target a couple of horizons which should mean a greater volume of gas recovered.
The company is attempting to get permits delivered, maintain production from the field and deliver a positive outcome from the strategic review.
Many thanks
Colin
Hope the BOD get the message loud and clear from pi`s today. I can`t attend as shareholding stuck in Beaufort, so no broker. No voting document on AST website, did ask Dawn, reply was you get it from your broker! GLA
Flavourshaker, Final year end accounts gave exercise option dates for major holdings of directors. 5 May 19 + 6 Nov 20 Have I understood this correctly? If yes makes a significant difference IMHO, as hopefully shareholders can have influence if a decent price is / not obtained? GLA
Sent last night. Good evening Dawn, When do you anticipate that the proxy form download will be available on your website?
Who says that any unpleasant emails are from Ascent shareholders? Where is the written evidence Colin?
jester16, Elon Musk appears to be a very clever individual. He has done things that will reshape / change the automotive industry permanently, for example. He is trying to push the boundaries too fast though, without being in full control. He has also ruffled many feathers of established companies at board level. This will probably lead to Tesla being taken out by the big players. We shall see soon enough. Aimho
This is what I posted at the time: CC said during presentation, Henderson made about 10 mill profit on loan. I wanted to ask about last director share issue, I tried 3 times but suddenly CC stopped more questions being asked. I met CC later, who came to talk to a small group I was with, during the refreshment / food phase. I asked him who was briefly on the board from Henderson's, he said no-one yet I remember comments being made about it on this board. Was I mistaken? Then if he thought that there was a conflict of interests, with him being on Darwin and Ascent board. He didn`t see it as a problem but then suddenly decided to mingle more. Told Colin in another group, that Darwin / Prime Bid was considered to have a negative impact on companies borrowing from them, had no idea. Also said that there were some pi`s who questioned who was pulling the strings. He appeared visibly shaken and said but I am the CEO. I`m not making it up, was fact.
markettimer I agree, but done now unless I can cancel my post. How do you do that?
Monarch, My 1,555,000 shares are held in Beaufort Securities, will not be returned to me via PWC the administrators until at least September. I can`t vote would my shares count?
