My worry is that The Pound Forecast Agency forecast for Lloyd’s may be correct - bloody hope not !

With the latest news stating lockdown until at least the summer 2021 there ( unfortunately ) will be no way any dividend will be given .

I know Ragtrade said he doesn’t make predictions very often but let’s just hope he predicts a red day again soon !

I purchased quite a large number of Lloyd’s shares in 2009 for 48p , which I thought was a fantastic buy !
Here we are over 11 years later ........

Falky - according to The Pound Forecast Agency you could be bored for the next 2 years !
I am not a lover of the agency’s predictions because they do change with the flow but I find them facinating to look at ! I am bored !

Asperger - you did mean your 1st prediction of 135p so many years ago I can’t remember .

This is a joke ? We haven’t made enough money so don’t expect a dividend until 2022 at the earliest .
With so many people going to be out of work etc etc etc etc

Cheering up today !
However, looking at Barclays results they made most of their profit from investing in USA which Lloyd’s don’t & have put aside another £600m fo bad debt , which would mean Lloyd’s putting aside at least £1 billion ie no profit !
I know it looks like we could finally be getting a Brexit deal which will hopefully help but still apprehensive about our economy.
Maybe I am over thinking .

There won’t be any talk of dividends until end of year report , if we are lucky !
Next weeks Q3 will just be a short update with scrambled news .
Sorry to sound depressed but I am as I look everyday at how much I have lost on this share.
I know I should have got out years ago .

Just another point - watched a lot of tv at the weekend (sad but bad hangover !) and didn’t see any Boohoo related companies adverts which is very strange , normally they advertise a hell of a lot .

Just to make this conversation more interesting , would both of you give your opinion on what the share price will be by the end of next week ?

Does everyone think shares only go up ?
