If you transport pure hydrogen, you get around 4 times less volume, due to density. You also need temperature controlled lorry trailers or pressure trailers. So transportation of ammonia means more hydrogen and standard trailer.

The reason we import Ammonia from the Middle East is for this reason. They use solar power to power electrolysers. Meaning when produced it’s completely Green Hydrogen.

This is the reason it’s only cost effective to produce Green Hydrogen is very sunny or windy places.

Blue hydrogen, is formed from carbon dioxide released during capture and storage.

Green is powered by the sun and splits water into hydrogen.

Pro, I think the word though Green energy and Hydrogen was dead last year.

But it turns out that very different governments to what people thought would be elected, got elected and there have been so many coal power plants shutdown, the world is highly dependent on Green energy.

I’m fully expecting a Hydrogen boom this year.
