Jeff, thanks for the advice. But I’ve probably forgotten more about trading, than you will ever know.
Firstly, I go through the majority of trades daily, on the London S/E and with the spread always being more that 1-3% it’s quite easy to work out buys and sells.
Secondly, MMs job is to give liquidity, supply a buyer and seller at all times and make money from the spread.
They are not here to set long term prices, this should be determined, by how many people buy and how many people sell and the spread is what’s used to de risk MMs
There will of course be a few days where the price goes down after stronger buys or vice versa. But with AFC, 8 out of 10 trading days the buys are stronger and this has been the case for many months.
They soon knock this down on bad buying days, but on good days it doesn’t move.
I’m surprised I’m the only person mentioning this issue.
