DGR/Mather etc31 Dec 2025 07:29
Are there any (sensible) people on here who own DGR shares? If so, in regard to the offer, what is the general mood of your fellow shareholders?
My guess would be, like many others, they're not happy, but this must be tempered by the fact the proceeds will keep the business afloat? What are the chances of them rejecting the deal? When is the vote going to be held?
What will Mather do with the Samuel shares?
How happy will Mather be given that his direct holding is only worth circa 18m? How much will he get from his DGR and Samuel holdings? Is this the figure he had in mind for the years of work he put into the company? He received another kick in the balls yesterday, will this motivate him in his search for an alternative, or will he throw in the towel?
Given DGR's and Samuel's holdings, will this block form a cornerstone around which other private investors will rally in order to defeat the bid? 26% isn't a big number.
Random questions for which there are probably no answers, but could have a major impact on matters.
