@yakya I know what you mean about buying and then storing crypto. Foreteunatly one of my mates is a crypto expert, in fact he will chase lower fees all the time, whereas I prefer an established process so I dont forget it and also know my my purchases are stored.
Currently use Swissborg to buy crypto as their fees are only 1%
Coinbase Pro to sell crypto
Charge.IO to switch between crypto assets
Trusted app as the wallet
It's quite complicated though so having exposure in miners and blockchain technology stocks is another option. More ETF's are coming on stream as well.

HI All
I imagine some investors hold crypto as well as crypto stocks like ARB MSTR KR1 DMGI and MARA. The advantage of getting stocks is they can be held within an ISA or SIPP so no tax implications.
Do any of your have knowledge of the tax implications if you hold and make profits plays on pure crypto? I read that you can cash in something like £12k-£13k in profit per fin year tax year? Above this you would have to pay CGT? Is that correct and what is the rate?
Finally, if you don't use up the allowance in one tax year, can you carry it forward to the next? If anyone does have a FA who they use who is knowledgeable about this please share.
As the value of crypto continues to increase and therefore our profits, this is a topic its worth getting familiar with IMO.
Cheers
Hi All did anyone else receive this , anything to see here for EUA bearing in mind NN could be one of the potential bidders or JV partners?

@Learning et al, it is highly likely the uplift in the sp today was as a direct result of the feature by a subscription service Frontier Tech by its editor Sam Volkering (Southbank Research). In this month's issue, posted yesterday after the market closed, Sam initiated a buy rating on IQE. There are a few thousand subscribers/private investors and each time a stock is recommended, there is usually a reaction to the sp as people open their positions.
Another lovely rise today in BTC and other crypto today, keeping the upward momentum going from this past week. BTC hopefully will be testing a new high on Monday, and ARB getting back to the 110/120 mark as a result?
What one word or phrase does it make you think of for 8am Monday morning?
In case anyone missed it on Thursday? Sam Volkering and Eoin Treacy, editors at Southbank Research continue to back MelodyVR and like the the way the company is heading. Having invested since 2016 and being advised this was a medium term play of say 3-5 years, we are now at that back end of that time period now. Hopefully 2021 will be the year the company and the sp really takes off. GLA
