I understand someone on the ADFN forum has stated the FCA are investigating EUA, and the chairman and Nomad have resigned. I have called the FCA who have clearly stated that if they have a live investigation going on, they will not reveal this to avoid prejudice. So this person saying that them self has now been reported to the market abuse team at FCA. Will Novacyt need to fund raise to get the resources needed to fulfil the massive demand for their covid-19 test? Well possibly, but like with one of its other products, the client has committed to £690k of orders over the next 3 years, I imagine banks would look favourably on that and other forward orders. The company declined to comment when I emailed them with the question of a placing this evening. But if they do proceed at some point with a placing, it will be on the back of a great story anyway, so I won't be worried at all.
