Agree with that Barna. - I was not referring to the mine. The duty to "make good" at the mine will remain with the owner.

Red - Newmont are definitely the horse leading at the home turn and are my preferred option (anything else could get a little messy for us PI;s); my point was more to do with Telfer being the anchor which holds all together - no matter who owns it. As peppers says it will be monitized; I agree and as such will not be mothballed.

And all should consider the importance of Telfer to the region with particular ref to the Patterson. No matter who owns/runs it.

Telfer will not be "mothballed" and under the JV (or not) ore will be processed there - keep it simple folks. Newmont might walk away but Telfer will remain and that is where our ore will be going.
