RNS Number : 9222T Aurum Mining PLC 15 June 2009 15 June 2009 AURUM MINING PLC ("Aurum") Extended time frame to Mining Licence commitments Aurum is delighted to announce that following an application to the Kyrgyz State Agency for Geology and Mineral resources, the Agency has extended the Company's deadlines for the completion of key commitments outlined in its Andash Zone 1 mining licence. While the Company's mining licence for the Andash Zone 1 mine in Kyrgyzstan is valid until 2017, there are various requirements contained within the licence that need to be met. The key requirement was that the Company had to have the Zone 1 mine constructed by March 2010 - this deadline has now been pushed back to June 2011. This is a very significant step for Aurum, particularly since the Company returned £16m to Shareholders earlier in 2009 which effectively meant there was no possibility of meeting the March 2010 deadline. The key first step in the redevelopment of the Andash asset was therefore obtaining these extensions to the licence commitments. The variations to the mining licence conditions highlight the effectiveness of Aurum's working relationship with its local partner and they represent a major development in the Company's strategy to deliver significant value for Shareholders from the Andash asset. Glad to see some movement in this over the last 2 days. Its been a rather boring share since the 14th, just sitting there doing nothing :P
Well, i think im going in on these soon. Might see how today pans out, my other shares aint doing all that well today so dont really have any confidence in buying (being a noob still) Only have 1 riser today and thats PTG :)
Dont know if i should buy into these or not at this SP? Will they drop even more?
Not done a whole lot of research, but from looking at the graph. Why the extreme drop in the past 2 days?
If they have paid back share holders, surely they must be confident about something? Im in for a small amount at 5.43. Mid-Long term
Just bought in for a small ammount at 87.68, Doing this as a long term. Hope it wasnt the wrong choice!
With only having my dealer account activated this morning I bought into these today at 23.6p. Guted that i missed the 17p yesturday. Im into these for mid-long term. Hopeing this investment will work out for me in the long run, even if i did buy at high price! Good Luck to all :)
