RE: Are we entering a commodities supercycle? And what does it mean for small cap investors?25 Feb 2021 08:00
BurtonD, nice find, seems obvious that with so many O&G companies jumping on the green bandwagon and dumping oil projects there could well be a shortage of oil and gas when the world returns to normal, however echo have to increase production to benefit from this.
As for yesterddays RNS its good news echo are laying new pipe lines to reduce bottleneck and cope with expected increased production from these areas, my only concern being no start date is mentioned, the RNS states "installation expected to take approximately 45 days from conclusion of successful procurement" as we know echo have been slow at getting their projects underway.
The above got me to wondering if CL / PA work might leapfrog the work overs as CL is not dependent on these pipelines, i seem to remember there was word the CL would probably tie in the Chilean pipeline which is nearbye (few km), this is maybe wishful thinking on my part.
