RE: Echo Tweet13 Jul 2022 08:49
JONNYFUNK, ECHO have two licences in Bolivia, one of these was straddled by Shell and Repsol licences, both Shell and Repsol drilled their respective licences / wells 2018 / 2019 ish and while Shell found gas it was not commercial, i seem to remember both the Repsol and Shell wells were named BOYUY X-1 and each well reached deepths of near 6000 m, took over a year to drill and cost around $130,000,000 to drill, so that ECHO licence situated between these is probably worth nothing (but who knows for sure).
Our second licence is in Tarija basin which has had some huge gas finds, as it stands "undrilled" i doubt the licence itself is worth a lot but if we found a partner and it was drilled and found commercial then yes we could probably sell our stake and pay off all our debt and have cash left over, question is would we want to sell our stake, depends on whats found, how long is a piece of string.
Should say i am working from memory but pretty sure the above is reasonably accurate summary.
