Yup. Makes no sense. I'm also invested at Egdon Resources (EDG) and they were up last Friday and again (20% at the moment).

Decent stock to be invested in. Making money from conventional operations, paying down debt, and getting on with the job in hand. Progress on the Resolution field just offshore would light the "blue touch" paper, I think, as upward share price momentum continues this morning.

That's what was said in the Operations Update RNS of 20th. July, 2022 following interventions on Bruce M1 & M4 -
"....Plans to perform similar interventions on other Bruce and Keith wells, both subsea and from the platform, are now being accelerated.
"Bruce Field Well Interventions.
"The initial well (Bruce M1) was re-entered for the first time since 1998. After a successful scale removal and water shutoff, a significant reperforation and new perforation campaign was executed and the well returned to production. Production rates from the well have increased from around 400 boe/d before intervention to over 1,800 boe/d in July 2022."

Kistos took their little share price tumble today according to Kistos BB Barry5 :- "SP being hit as a result of Schroders reducing their stake from 9.3% to 5.0%. I think this spells the end of AA's quest to buy SQZ." (14.16hrs posting)

You're right, sasa. A hefty 'return of capital' to shareholders of which they will likely re-invest a significant amount back into the company by buying more shares (as many, I feel sure, are doing today with the divi) and, perhaps, open a dialogue with Mr. Cross at Parkmead (PMG) to get the ball rolling, or drilling, at the Skerryvore prospect. We already have a 20% interest here and its location near the Columbus complex will be to our greater benefit in the long run.
Send the right messages to SQZ shareholders, please. We will vote NO.

My divi didn't appear until shortly before 1100hrs. Topped up.

Resolution (P1929) & Endeavour (P2304) gas field discoveries (Total, 1966).
Near shore exploration licences which SQZ might well be interested in taking over now that Shell UK has decided to relinquish its interest. Conventional exploration.
Egdon Resources (30%) had farmed out 70% working interest and Operatorship of these licences to Shell U.K. in 2020 and a 3D siesmic survey was due to commence end of 2021. Shell postponed the planned work and have since renaged on the deal by withdrawing from both completely.
Handy opportunity for SQZ. This is right on our doorstep. We have the expertise; we have the cash. Do we have the resolution and the endeavour?
